A comparative characterization of proteins from three edible insects—Tenebrio molitor (mealworm) larvae, Gryllus bimaculatus (cricket), and Bombyx mori (silkworm) pupae—was performed in this study. Proteins were extracted insects their hydrolysates prepared through enzymatic hydrolysis with commercial enzymes (Flavourzyme: 12%; Alcalase: 3%). We report on magnetization M(H), dc and ac magnetic susceptibility χ(T), specific heat Cm(T) muon spin relaxation (μSR) measurements of the Kitaev honeycomb iridate Cu2IrO3 with quenched disorder. In spite chemical disorders, we find no indication glass down to 260 mK from μSR data. Furthermore, a persistent dynamics observed by zero-field evidences an absence static magnetism.
