We present a new proof of global existence and long range scattering, from small initial data, for the one--dimensional cubic gauge invariant nonlinear Schrödinger equation, Hartree equations in dimension $n \geq 2$. The relies on an analysis Fourier space, related to recent works Germain, Masmoudi, Shatah space-time resonances. An interesting feature our approach is that we are able identify phase correction term through very natural stationary argument.

Live programming allows programmers to edit the code of a running program and immediately see effect changes. This tightening traditional edit-compile-run cycle reduces cognitive gap between execution, improving learning experience beginning while boosting productivity seasoned ones. Unfortunately, live is difficult realize in practice as imperative languages lack well-defined abstraction boundaries that make responsive or its feedback comprehensible.

Phlegmonous gastritis (PG) is a rare, life-threatening bacterial infection characterized by thickening of the gastric wall. We report case PG in 17-year-old male following allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation for severe aplastic anemia. Seven months after transplantation, patient presented with abdominal pain, fever, and significant wall on CT. Initial antibiotic therapy was initiated immediately. The developed multiple organ failure; however, his condition rapidly improved...

This paper is concerned with a synthesis method of gain-scheduled controllers based on descriptor representations LPV systems and its application to design flight vehicle control. By representing linear parameter-varying system in the form, parameter-dependent LMI seek controller are formulated so that they have simple structure respect parameter. A computed directly via an explicit formula terms variable for systems. procedure applied control satisfy multiple specifications under large...

This paper presents TextAlive, a graphical tool that allows interactive editing of kinetic typography videos in which lyrics or transcripts are animated synchrony with the corresponding music speech. While existing systems have allowed designer and casual user to create animations, most them do not take into account synchronization audio signals. They allow predefined motions be applied objects parameters tweaked, but it is usually impossible extend set motion algorithms within these...

We explore a new approach to programming swarm user interfaces (Swarm UI) by leveraging direct physical manipulation. Existing Swarm UI applications are written using robot framework: users work on computer screen and think in terms of low-level controls. In contrast, our allows programmers space directly manipulating objects high-level interface design. Inspired current practices, we introduce four-step workflow-create elements, abstract attributes, specify behaviors, propagate changes-for...

We must give some form of a command to robots in order have the do complex task. An initial instruction is required even if they their tasks autonomously. therefore need interfaces for operation and teaching robots. Natural languages, joysticks, other pointing devices are currently used this purpose. These interfaces, however, difficulty operating multiple simultaneously. developed multi-touch interface with top-down view from ceiling camera controlling mobile The user specifies vector field...

The increasing popularity of interactive camera-based programs highlights the inadequacies conventional IDEs in developing these given their distinctive attributes and workflows. We present DejaVu, an IDE enhancement that eases development by enabling programmers to visually continuously monitor program data consistency with frame-based pipeline computer-vision programs; easily record, review, reprocess temporal iteratively improve processing non-reproducible camera input. Lyn kinase-deficient (lyn-/-) mice show several abnormalities such as reduced numbers of circulating B cells, hyper-IgM, and low proliferative responses induced by CD40 ligand. Lyn-/- also develop splenomegaly, produce autoreactive Abs with age, finally glomerulonephritis. Another abnormality observed in lyn-/- is that their disability to form germinal centers (GCs). Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) has a wide spectrum, eventually leading to cirrhosis and hepatic carcinogenesis. We previously reported that series of microRNAs (miRNAs) mapped in the 14q32.2 maternally imprinted gene region (Dlk1-Dio3 mat) are related NAFLD development progression mouse model. examined suitability miR-379, circulating Dlk1-Dio3 mat miRNA, as human biomarker.Eighty patients were recruited for this study. miR-379 was selected from putative miRNA cluster because it...
