Phlegmonous gastritis (PG) is a rare, life-threatening bacterial infection characterized by thickening of the gastric wall. We report case PG in 17-year-old male following allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation for severe aplastic anemia. Seven months after transplantation, patient presented with abdominal pain, fever, and significant wall on CT. Initial antibiotic therapy was initiated immediately. The developed multiple organ failure; however, his condition rapidly improved...

Quantum enhancement polynomials are invariants for oriented links, defined in association with an algebraic structure called a tribracket. In this paper, we focus on the particular case of canonical two-element We prove that, that case, quantum can be recovered by five specific polynomials, which refer to as universal polynomials. After presenting several notable properties these show they strictly stronger than Jones polynomial. Furthermore, provide computational results links up 10 crossings.

Late-onset noninfectious pulmonary complications (LONIPCs), which occur more than 3 months after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT), are major causes of morbidity and mortality transplantation. Among LONIPCs, we occasionally treat patients with late-onset severe restrictive lung defect HSCT; however, its clinical features have not been fully elucidated.A retrospective chart review a single center on cases HSCT was performed. 453 who survived longer 100 days evaluable...

To evaluate the feasibility of adoptive cell therapy (ACT) using ex vivo-expanded tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) in Japanese patients with melanoma who failed immune-checkpoint inhibitor therapy, an open-label, single-arm, pilot study was conducted. We investigated immunological and genetic factors pretreatment tumor expanded TILs that may be associated clinical response. The treatment protocol comprised preparation TIL culture, lympho-depleting non-myeloablative preconditioning...

Cytokine release syndrome (CRS) is the most common adverse event of chimeric antigen receptor T (CAR-T) cell therapy and usually characterized by systemic symptoms such as fever, hypotension, hypoxia. However, there have been several recent reports local CRS cervical swelling. This localized can cause life-threatening laryngeal edema requires early diagnostic treatment. Here we report 3 cases where bilateral salivary gland swelling emerged following anti-CD19 CAR-T for relapsed or refractory...

BK polyomavirus (BKPyV) is recognized as a pathogen that causes diseases such hemorrhagic cystitis and nephritis after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) or renal transplantation. BKPyV-associated disease thought to occur through reactivation under immunosuppression. However, the possibility of its nosocomial transmission clinical significance have not been elucidated. During 6-month period, nine adult patients (median age: 47 years) who had hematological disorders...

The genus-g Goeritz group is the of isotopy classes orientationpreserving homeomorphisms a closed orientable 3-manifold that preserve given Heegaard splitting manifold. In this work, we show genus-2 S 2 × 1 finitely presented, and give its explicit presentation.

Abstract We consider the group of isotopy classes automorphisms 3-sphere that preserve a spatial graph or handlebody-knot embedded in it. prove is finitely presented for an arbitrary reducible genus two. also groups “most” irreducible two handlebody-knots are finite.

Given a genus two Heegaard splitting for nonprime 3-manifold, we define special subcomplex of the disk complex one handlebodies splitting, and then show that it is contractible. As applications, first Haken spheres contractible, which refines results Lei Lei-Zhang. Secondly, classify all splittings 3-manifolds, generalization result Montesinos–Safont. Finally, mapping class group called Goeritz group, finitely presented by giving its explicit presentation.

Letermovir has been approved as a novel cytomegalovirus (CMV) prophylactic agent after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT). A $3$-manifold which admits a genus-$2$ reducible Heegaard splitting is one of the $3$-sphere, $\mathbb {S}^2 \times \mathbb {S}^1$, lens spaces and their connected sums. For each those manifolds except most spaces, mapping class group was shown to be finitely presented. In this work, we study remaining generic show that presented for any space by giving its explicit presentation. As an application, fundamental groups splittings are all
