Abstract Machine learning is a powerful means for the rapid development of high-performance functional materials. In this study, we presented machine workflow predicting corrosion resistance self-healing epoxy coating containing ZIF-8@Ca microfillers. The orthogonal Latin square method was used to investigate effects molecular weight polyetheramine curing agent, molar ratio epoxy, content hydrogen bond unit (UPy-D400), and mass solid microfillers (ZIF-8@Ca microfillers) on low impedance...

Ten new carbazole alkaloids, claulansines A–J (1–10), and seven known analogues (11–17) were isolated from the stems of Clausena lansium. Their structures established on basis extensive spectroscopic analyses, their absolute configurations determined by CD experiments computational methods. Screening results indicated that compounds 1, 6, 8–10, 13, 14, 17 showed selective neuroprotective effects at concentration 10 μM.

Background Septic acute kidney injury (AKI) causes high mortality in critical care units, and no effective therapy exists clinical treatment. In the current study, water ethanol extracts of Hydrangea paniculata (HP), a traditional Chinese medicinal plant, were used to test its renoprotective effects lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced murine model septic AKI. Methods C57BL/6 mice orally pretreated with HP three times, then intraperitoneal LPS injection was induce Blood from animals collected...

Three novel sesquiterpenoid-based meroterpenoids of psidials A−C (1−3) have been isolated from the leaves Psidium guajava L. Their complete structures were elucidated by spectral and chemical methods, that 1 was confirmed single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Psidial B (2) C (3) represented new skeleton 3,5-diformylbenzyl phloroglucinol-coupled sesquiterpenoid. A possible biosynthetic pathway for 2−3 postulated. showed activity to enzyme PTP1B in 10 μM.

Skimmin is one of the major pharmacologically active molecules present in Hydrangea paniculata, a medical herb used traditional Chinese medicine as an anti-inflammatory agent. In current study, we attempted to investigate its renoprotective activity and underlying mechanisms rat model membranous glomerulonephritis induced by cationic bovine serum albumin (c-BSA). Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats were divided into five groups, including normal control, Mycophenolate Mofetil-treated group, two...

Twelve new dihydroagarofuran sesquiterpene polyol esters, triptersinines A–L (1–12), and eight known pyridine alkaloids were isolated from the leaves of Tripterygium wilfordii. Their structures elucidated on basis spectroscopic analyses, including UV, IR, NMR experiments (1H–1H COSY, NOESY, HSQC, HMBC). Furthermore, in an vitro bioassay, compounds 1, 9, 11, 13, 14, 18 showed moderate inhibitory effects nitric oxide production LPS-induced macrophages at 5 μM; all inactive when tested against...

In the ongoing coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome 2 (SARS-CoV-2), natural killer T (NKT) cells act as primary initiators of immune responses. However, a decrease circulating NKT has been observed in COVID-19 different stages, which underlying mechanism remains to be elucidated. Here, performing single-cell RNA sequencing analysis three large cohorts patients, we found that increased expression Tim-3 promotes depletion during progression stage...

The influence of different calcium sources on the mineralization behavior Shewanella putrefaciens and their roles in microbiologically influenced corrosion inhibition (MICI) Q235 carbon steel were investigated. Calcium lactate, nitrate, L-aspartate selected as alternative to assess effects bacterial growth, carbonate deposition, resistance. S. exhibited stable growth all tested media, with pH exceeding 8 after 14 days, promoting precipitation. Under sterile conditions, provided some...

Abstract Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) from pathogenic bacterial biofilms has become a global health issue while developing novel antimicrobials is inefficient and costly. Combining existing multiple drugs with enhanced efficacy and/or reduced toxicity may be promising approach to treat AMR. D‐amino acids mixtures coupled antibiotics can provide new therapies for drug‐resistance infection by lower drug dosage requirements. However, iterative trial‐and‐error experiments are not tenable...
