Epiploic foramen entrapment (EFE) is, based on the number of reports in literature, a relatively important life-threatening cause colic horses that could be prevented by closing epiploic (EF) at risk developing EFE.To describe laparoscopic epiploicum mesh closure (FEMC) technique and its outcome.Descriptive experimental study. The EF 6 was closed with FEMC technique. Piglets are considered to be suitable animal models for predicting the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics (PK/PD) of test drugs potential use in paediatric population. Such PK/PD studies require multiple blood urine samplings. The goal present study was determine a collection strategy applicable youngest age categories six days, four weeks eight age, as well technique male piglets same categories. Pediatric drug development, especially in disease areas that only affect children, can be stimulated by using juvenile animal models not for general safety studies, but also to gain knowledge on the pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic properties of drug. Recently, conventional growing piglet has been suggested as model. However, more studies with different classes drugs are warranted make a thorough evaluation whether pig might suitable preclinical Ibuprofen is one most widely used...

Abstract Objective To report the clinical features, outcomes, and prognostic factors associated with surgical treatment of epiploic foramen entrapment (EFE). Study design Retrospective study at a single referral hospital. Animals Horses (n = 142) undergoing surgery 145) for EFE. Methods Preoperative, perioperative, postoperative data surgeries on horses that underwent exploratory laparotomy EFE were obtained. Although the omentum remains an enigmatic organ, research during last decades has revealed its fascinating functions including fat storage, fluid drainage, immune activity, angiogenesis and adhesion. While clinicians both in human veterinary medicine are continuously exploring new potential omental applications, detailed anatomical data on canine currently lacking, information is often retrieved from medicine. In this study, topographic anatomy of greater lesser explored depth. Current...

Summary A yearling B elgian D raught horse filly was presented with a history of bilateral, progressive, painful swelling the mandible, fever and anorexia. Radiographs computed tomographic images showed an expansile lesion coalescing, well‐defined cystic pattern at level horizontal ramii mandible. The histopathological findings confirmed diagnoses multiple ossifying fibroma. This report indicates that fibroma should be included in differential diagnosis if lesions jaw are present.

The canine omental bursa is a virtual cavity enclosed by the greater and lesser omentum. While previous representations of this were always purely schematic, novel casting technique was developed to depict three-dimensional organization more consistently.
