Abstract In this study, a novel 3D printed porous titanium cage (3D cage) with interconnected pores inside was designed and manufactured. Observations by scanning electron microscopy showed that the of had an octahedral structure, uniform in size connected to each other. The mechanical properties analysis found Young's modulus compressive strength structure were close those bone overall stiffness slightly higher than polyether ether ketone (PEEK) material, but significantly lower alloy solid...

The X-ray polarization observations, made possible with the Imaging Polarimetry Explorer (IXPE), offer new ways of probing high-energy emission processes in astrophysical jets from blazars. Here, we report first observation blazar S4 0954+65 a high optical and state. During our multi-wavelength (MWL) campaign source, detected an flare whose peak coincided flare. Large energy-dependent X-ray polarization degree is detected by the Imaging Polarimetry Explorer ({IXPE}) in high-soft emission state of black hole binary 4U 1630--47. The highly significant detection (at $\approx50\sigma$ confidence level) an unexpectedly high polarization, rising from $\sim6\%$ at $2$ keV to $\sim10\%$ $8$ keV, cannot be easily reconciled with standard models thin accretion discs. In this work we compare predictions different theoretical {IXPE} data and conclude that...

Gold (average size 25 and 70 nm), were studied human normal cancerous tissues vitro, respectively. Each sample monitored with SD-OCT functional imaging for 240 min. Continuous OCT monitoring showed that, after application gold nanoparticles, signal intensities both increase time, larger tend to produce a greater enhancement same...
