The vector and tensor polarizations of a deuteron beam have been measured using elastic deuteron-carbon scattering at 75.6 MeV deuteron-proton 270 MeV. After acceleration to 1170 inside the COSY ring, deuterons were checked by studying variety nuclear reactions cluster target ANKE magnet spectrometer placed an internal position storage ring. All these measurements consistent with absence depolarization during provide number secondary standards that can be used in subsequent experiments facility.

We have measured the $\mathrm{pd}$ elastic scattering with an electron-cooled beam of a proton storage ring and internal jet target operated HD gas. The accurately known H/D ratio is used to transfer precision existing $\mathrm{pp}$ data cross sections. Measurements were performed for energies between 200 300 MeV in angular range $11\ifmmode^\circ\else\textdegree\fi{}<~{\ensuremath{\Theta}}_{\mathrm{c}.\mathrm{m}.}<~ 29\ifmmode^\circ\else\textdegree\fi{}.$ results are compared...

At the Cooler Synchrotron COSY/J\"ulich spin-correlation parameters in elastic proton-proton ($pp$) scattering have been measured with a 2.11 GeV polarized proton beam and hydrogen atomic target. We report results for ${A}_{NN}$, ${A}_{SS}$, ${A}_{SL}$ c.m. angles between $30\ifmmode^\circ\else\textdegree\fi{}$ $90\ifmmode^\circ\else\textdegree\fi{}$. Our data on ${A}_{SS}$---the first measurement of this observable above 800 MeV---clearly disagrees predictions available $pp$ phase-shift...

We recently studied spin flipping of a $1.94\text{ }\text{ }\mathrm{GeV}/c$ vertically polarized proton beam at COSY in J\"ulich, Germany. swept an rf-dipole's frequency through rf-induced resonance to flip the beam's polarization direction. After determining resonance's frequency, we varied dipole's strength, range, and ramp time. At maximum optimum range time, measured spin-flip efficiency $99.3%\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.1%$. This result indicates that rf dipole may allow efficient...

After optimizing crossing rate maximizing voltage, we measured spin-flip efficiencies $97\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}1%$ $98.5\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.3%$ two separate runs. also confirmed at higher...
