Background Deep learning (DL) models can potentially improve prognostication of rectal cancer but have not been systematically assessed. Purpose To develop and validate an MRI DL model for predicting survival in patients with based on segmented tumor volumes from pretreatment T2-weighted scans. Materials Methods were trained validated retrospectively collected scans diagnosed between August 2003 April 2021 at two centers. Patients excluded the study if there concurrent malignant neoplasms,...
We observed two ultrabroadband near-infrared (NIR) luminescence bands around 1.2 and 1.5 μm in as-grown bismuth-doped CsI halide crystals, without additional aftertreatment. Dependence of the NIR emission properties on excitation wavelength measurement temperature was studied. Two kinds active centers subvalent bismuth color were demonstrated to coexist Bi:CsI crystal. The eye-safe band with an FWHM 140 nm lifetime 213 μs at room makes crystal promising applications ultrafast laser amplifier.
The absorption, excitation, and ultrabroadband near-infrared luminescence spectra of Bismuth were investigated in H(2)-annealed gamma-irradiated Bi:alpha-BaB(2)O(4)(alpha-BBO) single crystals, respectively. Energy-level diagrams the luminescent centers fixed. electronic transition energies active are basically consistent with multiplets free Bi(+) ions. minor difference energy-level ions Bi:alpha-BaB(2)O(4) crystals can be ascribed to local lattice environments. involved physical chemical...
Cr-doped GdScO3 single crystals were grown by the EFG method. Based on their absorption and emission spectras, crystal field strength parameters of octahedrally-coordinated Cr3+ ions determined: Dq = 1553 cm-1, B = 574 C = 3211 Dq/B = 2.71 for 0.5% Cr:GdScO3. Effective phonon energy was calculated to be 412 cm−1, Huang–Rhys factor 3.0. The spectra doped covered region from 650 nm 1100 nm, cross-section at 767 0.32×10−20 cm2. In comparison with other materials, Cr:GdScO3 has a short...
BACKGROUND: Accurate prediction of response to neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy is critical for subsequent treatment decisions patients with locally advanced rectal cancer. OBJECTIVE: To develop and validate a deep learning model that based on the comparison paired magnetic resonance imaging before after predict pathological complete response. DESIGN: By capturing changes from images in 638 patients, we trained multitask (DeepRP-RC) also allowed simultaneous segmentation. Its performance was...
Bi-doped CsI crystals exhibited near-infrared ultra-broadband photoluminescence around 1216 nm and 1560 nm, depending on the bismuth doping levels, which were ascribed to Bi+ Bi2+ centers, respectively. The crystal chemistry of Bi3+ reduction dimer formation in lattice investigated. Thermal treatments including annealing quenching carried out study thermal behaviors two emission bands. evolution absorption spectra Bi:CsI indicating Bi-aggregation valence conversions under activation. process...
Er:GdScO 3 crystal was grown by the edge-defined film-fed (EFG) method for first time. The rocking curve showed that as-grown has a high crystalline quality. peak absorption cross section at 980 nm is 0.38×10 −20 cm 2 with full width half maximum (FWHM) of 19.5 and emission 2720 0.93×10 FWHM 149.0 nm. fluorescence lifetimes 4 I 11/2 13/2 were fitted to be 2.24 ms 4.57 ms, respectively. At inversion ratio P≥0.5, positive local gain cross-section 2.7 µm obtained. Continuous-wave laser...
The effects of cementitious materials used in the early conservation stony cultural heritage on sandstones have yet to be clarified. impact mechanical and physicochemical properties was investigated by designing for wet dry cycling neutral alkaline solutions (pure water, sodium hydroxide, calcium ordinary cement, low cement). sandstone examined before after cycles using X-ray fluorescence spectrometry (XRF), ion chromatography (IC), diffractometry (XRD) characterize deterioration material...
Dy:Lu2O3 was grown by the float-zone (Fz) method. According to absorption spectrum, Judd–Ofelt (JO) parameters Ω 2, 4, and 6 were calculated be 4.86 × 10−20 cm2, 2.02 1.76 respectively. The emission cross-section at 574 nm corresponding 4F9/2→6H13/2 transition 0.53 cm2. yellow (4F9/2→6H13/2 transition) blue (4F9/2→6H15/2 intensity ratio ranges up 12.9. fluorescence lifetime of 4F9/2 energy level measured 112.1 μs. These results reveal that is a promising material for use in lasers.
