Dengue is an acute febrile illness caused by positive-sense single-stranded RNA virus, belonging to the family Flaviviridae and genus Flavivirus . Transmission of virus among individuals occurred blood-feeding Aedes mosquitoes. This has four serotypes differentiated on basis antibody neutralization assay. At present, there no particular treatment or vaccine candidate available for dengue infection. Approximately 3.9 billion human populations are at risk (DENV) Thus, precise diagnosis early...
The susceptibility to adverse outcome from critical injury (occurrence of sepsis, septic shock, organ dysfunction/failure, and mortality) varies dramatically due different degrees inflammatory response. We assessed the relationship genotype distribution various cytokine gene polymorphisms (CGP) with regard development dysfunction or mortality in severely injured patients. Observational, hospital-based cohort study 114 North Indian patients New Delhi admitted Emergency Department (ED) Trauma...
In recent years, Chikungunya virus (CHIKV) reemerged and numerous outbreaks were reported all over the world. After screening CHIKV-positive sera, we had already many dominant epitopes within envelope E2 protein of CHIKV. present study, aimed at developing a highly sensitive immunodiagnostic assay for CHIKV based on multiple antigenic peptide (MAP) approach using selective protein. MAPs in four different combinations screened with sera. The reacted sera no reactivity was seen healthy or...
Many epidemic outbreaks of Chikungunya fever (CHIKF) have been reported throughout the world including India after its reemergence in 2005. The immuno protective role envelope proteins during virus (CHIKV) infection has reported. With aim identifying immunodominant epitopes within protein we investigated detailed analysis fine specificity antibody response different individuals CHIKV infection. The peptides corresponding to full length E1, E2 and E3 S27 strain were synthesized their...
Imatinib is a potent drug used in the treatment of all phases chronic myeloid leukaemia (CML). It an inhibitor protein kinases associated with BCR-ABL and related kinases. Various clinical trials have confirmed efficacy imatinib among non-transplant options. generally well tolerated. Reported complications include nausea, vomiting, oedema fluid retention. We report case CML which patient developed acute pulmonary following therapy. The probable cause was cardiac morbidity due to imatinib.
Nasotracheal intubation is commonly used in the anaesthetic management of patients undergoing oropharyngeal procedures. The most frequent complication epistaxis, which occasionally may be troublesome. There have been reports partial and even total avulsion turbinates. We report a case obstruction nasotracheal tube by dislocated inferior turbinate that led to ventilation failure. High degree suspicion quick diagnosis dislocation immediate re-intubation saved life patient.

Background and Aims
Opioid use has been associated with unwanted side effects cancer recurrence. Regional anesthesia may provide better analgesia, reduce opioid usage, progression. We conducted this trial to study the efficacy of erector spinae block ( ESP) based on postoperative consumption immune cell expression in patients undergoing breast surgery.
Methods
After ethics committee approval, 100 female surgery were randomly allocated into two groups: group N (received ESP...
Lymphadenopathy is the commonest clinical presentation encountered in outpatient as well inpatient department irrespective of age [1].FNAC a simple, early and rapid diagnostic procedure to identify an etiology enlarged lymph node. Objectives this study were role FNAC evaluating cervical nodes, categorize malignant cases into primary metastatic lesions. Total number 530. Out which 477 benign/infectious 53 malignant. The patients node aspirates ranged from 10 year 81 year. total cases,...
