We present measurements of the ratio proton elastic electromagnetic form factors, μpGEp/GMp. The Jefferson Lab Hall A Focal Plane Polarimeter was used to determine longitudinal and transverse components recoil polarization in ep scattering; these is proportional two factors. These data reproduce observation Jones et al. [Phys. Rev. Lett. 84, 1398 (2000)], that factor decreases significantly from unity above Q2=1GeV2.Received 29 May 2001DOI:https://doi.org/10.1103/PhysRevC.64.038202©2001...
We report on precision measurements of the elastic cross section for electron-proton scattering performed in Hall C at Jefferson Lab. The were made 28 distinct kinematic settings covering a range momentum transfer $0.4<{Q}^{2}<5.5\phantom{\rule{0.3em}{0ex}}{(\mathrm{GeV}∕c)}^{2}$. These represent significant contribution to world's data set ${Q}^{2}$ range, where large discrepancy currently exists between ratio electric magnetic proton form factors extracted from previous and that recently...
We have measured the transverse asymmetry ${A}_{{T}^{\ensuremath{'}}}$ in ${}^{3}\stackrel{\ensuremath{\rightarrow}}{\mathrm{He}}(\stackrel{\ensuremath{\rightarrow}}{e}{,e}^{\ensuremath{'}})$ quasielastic scattering Hall A at Jefferson Laboratory with high precision for ${Q}^{2}$ values from 0.1 to $0.6(\mathrm{GeV}/c{)}^{2}$. The neutron magnetic form factor ${G}_{M}^{n}$ was extracted based on Faddeev calculations ${Q}^{2}\phantom{\rule{0ex}{0ex}}=\phantom{\rule{0ex}{0ex}}0.1$ and...
We have measured the transverse asymmetry AT' in quasielastic 3He→(e→,e') process with high precision at Q2 values from 0.1 to 0.6(GeV/c)2. The neutron magnetic form factor GMn was extracted of and 0.2(GeV/c)2 using a nonrelativistic Faddeev calculation which includes both final-state interactions (FSI) meson-exchange currents (MEC). Theoretical uncertainties due FSI MEC effects were constrained measurement spin-dependent threshold region 3He→(e→,e'). also 0.3 0.6(GeV/c)2 based on plane wave...
We present measurements of the recoil proton polarization for d(γ→,p→)n reaction at θc.m.=90° photon energies up to 2.4 GeV. These are first data in this transfer with circularly polarized photons. The induced py vanishes above 1 GeV, contrary meson-baryon model expectations, which resonances lead large polarizations. However, Cx does not vanish inconsistent hadron helicity conservation. Thus, we show that scaling behavior observed d(γ,p)n cross sections is a result perturbative QCD. should...
The first measurements of the d(gamma,p)n differential cross section at forward angles and photon energies above 4 GeV were performed Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility (JLab). results indicate evidence an angular dependent scaling threshold. Results straight theta(cm) = 37 degrees are consistent with constituent counting rules for E(gamma) greater, similar GeV, while those 70 1.5 GeV.
We present measurements of the recoil proton polarization for 1H(→γ,→p)π0 reaction θπc.m.=60°–135° and photon energies up to 4.1 GeV. These are first data in this transfer with circularly polarized photons. Various theoretical models compared results. No evidence hadron helicity conservation is observed. Models that employ factorization not favored. It appears from strong angular dependence induced at 2.5 3.1 GeV a relatively high spin resonance or background amplitude might exist energy...
We report on a detailed study of longitudinal strength in the nucleon resonance region, presenting new results from inclusive electron-proton cross sections measured at Jefferson Lab Hall C four-momentum transfer range $0.2<{Q}^{2}<5.5\phantom{\rule{4pt}{0ex}}{\mathrm{GeV}}^{2}$. The data have been used to accurately perform 167 Rosenbluth-type longitudinal/transverse separations. precision $R={\ensuremath{\sigma}}_{L}/{\ensuremath{\sigma}}_{T}$ are presented here, along with first separate...
The first complete measurements of the angular distributions two-body deuteron photodisintegration differential cross section at photon energies above 1.6 GeV were performed Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility. results show a persistent forward-backward asymmetry up to Eγ=2.4GeV, highest-energy measured in this experiment. Hard Rescattering and Quark-Gluon string models are fair agreement with results.Received 19 July 2002DOI:https://doi.org/10.1103/PhysRevC.66.042201©2002...
Many studies were carried out for the construction of low density parity-check (LDPC) codes. They usually focused on introducing methods good LDPC codes instead a general method code optimization. This paper proposes with high versatility, called parallel vector message passing-based edge exchange (PMPE), optimizing type graph-based codes, without changing parameters mother such as length, rate, and degree distribution. With approximately nearest codewords searching approach, we find...
The road grid pattern (RGP) is a common spatial structure in urban networks, and important for revealing development, population distribution, functional area delineation. However, recognizing RGPs vector data complex intelligent task that requires comprehensive consideration of geometry, semantic features, their contextual relationships. First, performance multiscale eigenvalue statistic-based descriptor with combinations parameters evaluated identify optimal...
In this paper, we focus on the construction of a type quasi-cyclic low-density-parity-check (QC LDPC) codes called cycle codes. Based our previous work, maximum entropy (MCE) algorithm for constructing nonbinary LDPC can be extended to its QC form (QC-MCE), which maintains structure parity-check matrix. With method employed, an elegant distribution nonzero entries over Galois field GF(q) obtained among cycles whose length is related girth. Thus, independence probabilistic information...
Automatic pairwise registration for unordered terrestrial laser scanner (TLS) point clouds is the pre-requisite many applications, including 3D model reconstruction, cultural heritage management and landslide monitoring. However, most of existing methods are still suffering from several limitations: (1) difficult to find correct corresponding pairs source target cloud, (2) low accuracy (3) iterative process time-consuming. To overcome these challenges, based on covariance matrix, this paper...
To obtain the complete coverage when scanning a large-scale scene using laser scanner, registration of pairwise point clouds by corresponding geometric features is usually necessary under condition insufficient direct geographic reference information GNSS sensors. In this paper, we propose target-less coarse method for voxel-based planes, which are identified pair conjugate 2-plane bases. The planes firstly extracted from entire cloud with 3D cubic grids decomposed octree-based voxelization;...
