Complete mitochondrial DNA D-loop sequences of 1105 individuals were used to assess the diversity maternal lineages cattle populations in China. In total, 250 taurine and 88 zebu haplotypes identified. Five main haplogroups-T1a, T2, T3, T4 T5-were identified Bos taurus, whereas indicus harbored two haplogroups-I1 I2. Our results suggest that distribution T1a Asia was concentrated mainly northeast region (northeast China, Korea Japan); haplogroups T3 predominant Chinese cattle; T5...

Antimicrobial chemotherapy is necessary to control Riemerella anatipestifer (RA), among which florfenicol (FF) regarded as one of the preferred options. Based on consideration drug combination improve efficacy, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics FF combined with doxycycline (DOX) against RA were studied. was administered at doses 20 or 40 mg/kg in DOX (1, 2.5, 5, 10, mg/kg) via a single intramuscular injection (i.m.). showed slow elimination ducks half-life (T1/2kel) plasma, lung, liver...

A novel method to generate ultra-wideband (UWB) monocycle pulses based on birefringence time delay in polarisation-maintaining fibre (PMF) is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. Two polarity-reverse are generated by polarisation modulation using a single phase modulator. They delayed PMF with enough pulse.

A novel and simple method of optical generation millimetre-wave signals employing four-wave mixing (FWM) effect in a semiconductor amplifier (SOA) is proposed. This approach capable generating double, quadruple six times the microwave source frequency with extremely high spectral purity stability. 41.7 GHz (6×fundamental) 3 dB linewidth less than 20 Hz phase noise −75 dBc/Hz at 1.6 kHz offset obtained.

Riemerella anatipestifer causes serious infections, characterized by septicemia and serositis, in ducks geese. R. is mainly controlled through antimicrobial chemotherapy. This study investigated the pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) integration of florfenicol (FF) against establishing a systemic infection model ducks. For PK studies, FF was administrated intramuscularly (i.m.) at single doses 2.5, 10, 20, 40 mg/kg body weight. The concentrations blood, lung, liver were determined....

A novel design method for nonvolatile ferroelectric random access memory (FeRAM) using a merged bitline(BL)/plateline(PL) array architecture with twin bitline-driven scheme is proposed. This effective in improving the FeRAM performance and reduces power consumption. 128 Kbit prototype applying proposed circuitry implemented. The chip size, time dissipation are reduced to about 87, 44 15.8%, respectively, comparison those of conventional FeRAM.

Jumping with controllable elevation is significant for insect-scale robots to improve terrain adaptability and escape from risks. However, jumping based on soft materials low stiffness cannot transmit displacement precisely, exhibiting poor control of jumping. Here, we propose a modified two-bars catapult mechanism combined an asynchronous sequential releasing strategy realize In this work, 80 mg prototype robot, 56 (long) × 29 mm (wide) 3 (high) in size, designed the range 63° 112°. A novel optical method for frequency upconversion in ultra-wideband (UWB) system application is proposed and demonstrated. UWB monocycle pulse can be generated by cross-polarsation modulation combined with carrier-suppressed modulation, after an O/E detector, it converted to 32 GHz band. After electrical downconversion, the has a fractional bandwidth of 144% fits applications.
