The presence of spontaneous portosystemic shunts (SPSS) has been identified to be associated with hepatic encephalopathy (HE) in patients cirrhosis. Nevertheless, the role interventional embolisation managing such remains poorly defined. Consequently, this prospective controlled study aims assess efficacy and safety as a therapeutic approach for cirrhosis recurrent or persistent HE related SPSS.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety endovascular brachytherapy (EVBT) combined with transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) for treatment hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) complicated type III OR IV portal vein tumor thrombosis (PVTT) further analyze prognostic predictors patients HCC PVTT. We retrospectively analyzed medical records 54 who were diagnosed or PVTT received EVBT modified TACE from January 2017 June 2019. Adverse events, response, overall survival...
Objective: To study the safety and efficacy of transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt (TIPS) combined with iodine-125 (125Ⅰ) seed strands implantation in patients hepatocellular carcinoma portal vein tumor thrombosis. Methods: 25 cases diffuse thrombus type Ⅲ/Ⅳ requiring TIPS were simultaneously implanted 125Ⅰseed strand. Tumor was controlled 125I brachytherapy to keep pathway unobstructed, reduce pressure, observe changes cause death patients. During same period, 30 without strand...
Objective: To investigate the efficacy, safety and prognostic factors of percutaneous biliary stent combined with iodine-125 seed chain brachytherapy (radiotherapy) in treatment malignant obstructive jaundice. Methods: Data 107 cases jaundice treated implantation from January 2017 to December 2020 were retrospectively analyzed. Among them, 58 received iodne-125 (study group), 49 (control group). The changes bilirubin, patency time, complications, overall survival (OS) analyzed both groups....
Objective: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of transcatheter arterial chemoembolization (TACE)-hepatic infusion chemotherapy (HAIC)-targeted-immune quadruple therapy in patients with intermediate advanced-stage hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Methods: 101 advanced stage HCC were enrolled according to inclusion exclusion criteria, then they divided into a combination group control group. Patients was treated TACE-HAIC-targeted-immune therapy, while only TACE therapy. The overall survival...
Abstract Background and aim Patients with cirrhosis have a high prevalence of spontaneous portosystemic shunt (SPSS), but it remains controversial whether the presence SPSS is associated liver function portal hypertension (PHT)-related complications. In this study, we aimed to investigate prevalence, clinical characteristics related factors in cirrhotic patients. Methods who were diagnosed hepatitis B-related between Jan 2020 Oct 2021 retrospectively recruited from five centers China. All...
Abstract Background: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the safety and efficacy endovascular brachytherapy (EVBT) combined with transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) for treatment hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) complicated type III-IV portal vein tumor thrombosis (PVTT) further analyze major independent risk predictor factors prognosis. Methods: We retrospectively analyzed medical records 54 patients who were diagnosed HCC III or IV PVTT received EVBT improved TACE from January 2017...
