Ellis-van Creveld (EVC) syndrome is a rare autosomal recessive congenital disorder characterized by chondrodysplasia and polydactyly, ectodermal dysplasia defects of the heart. We present here case 16-year-old short-limbed dwarf with skeletal deformities bilateral postaxial dysplastic nails teeth, also having left-sided facial hemiatrophy. Kaposi's sarcoma (KS) was first described in 1872 by Moritz Kaposi. In 1994, Chang et al. identified DNA sequences corresponding to human herpesvirus-8 (HHV-8) AIDS-associated Kaposi biopsies. It is now believed that presence of HHV-8 necessary but not sufficient cause KS. Other factors like immunosuppressive therapy also play a role.
