This work placed an emphasis that constructing segregated boron nitride (BN)/carbon nanotube (CNT) hybrid network brought immense benefit to enhance the thermal conductivity (TC) of poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) composites. The composites ((CNT + BN)@PVDF) showed a high TC 1.8 W/mK at total filler fraction 25 vol %, outperforming PVDF with random structure (CNT/BN/PVDF) and BN (BN@PVDF) by 169% 50%, respectively. Infrared images further demonstrated (CNT BN)@PVDF exhibited superior...

Phenotype transformation of vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) is known to be modulated by mechanical strain. The present study was designed investigate how different frequencies strain affected VSMC phenotype. VSMCs were subjected the strains 10% elongation at 0, 0.5, 1 and 2 Hz for 24 h using a Flexercell unit. phenotype assessed cell morphology, measurement two-dimensional area, Western blotting protein RT-PCR mRNA expression differentiation markers. Possible kinases involved evaluated...

A facile one-step hydrothermal synthesis approach was proposed to prepare nitrogen and chlorine co-doped carbon dots (CDs) using l-ornithine hydrochloride as the sole precursor. The configuration component of CDs were characterized by transmission electron microscopy X-ray photoelectron Fourier transform infrared spectroscopies. obtained (Orn-CDs) with a mean diameter 2.1 nm well monodispersed in aqueous solutions. as-prepared exhibited bright blue fluorescence high yield 60%, good...

Objective: To evaluate therapeutic efficacy of different combined antimicrobial treatments against acinetobacter baumannii ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP). Methods: Clinical outcomes were retrospectively analyzed to elucidate the four regimens. The chessboard and micro broth dilution methods determined minimum inhibitory concentrations antiseptic drugs singly used two 36 isolates multi-drug resistant (MDR) baumannii. Results: incidence VAP was approximately 6.9% (237/3424) between...

Abstract Pim‐3 is a member of proto‐oncogene Pim family that encodes serine/threonine kinases. proteins regulate both apoptosis and cellular metabolism by phosphorylating their substrates. Here, we report for the first time highly expressed at mRNA protein levels in endothelial cells (ECs). We found concentrated lamellipodia co‐localized with focal adhesion kinase (FAK). was dispersed from when ECs were treated cytochalasin D, an inhibitor actin polymerization. In addition, small‐interfering...

Although doxorubicin has been widely used as an anticancer drug, it dose-dependent toxic effects on ovarian follicle development and apoptosis, oocyte maturation, hormone secretion. Ca2+ signaling also vital roles in the same cellular functions of follicles, indicating a strong link with doxorubicin-induced toxicity. In current project, alternations cultured rat follicles have explored fluorescence resonance energy transfer technology. The results reveal that enhances cytosolic level...
