Abstract Engineering of the cell plasma membrane using functional DNA is important for studying and controlling cellular behaviors. However, most efforts to apply artificial interactions on cells are limited external surface due lack suitable synthetic tools engineer intracellular side, which impedes many applications in biology. Inspired by natural extracellular vesicle‐cell fusion process, we have developed a fusogenic spherical nucleic acid construct realize robust functionalization both...

Infected wounds pose a significant clinical challenge due to bacterial resistance, recurrent infections, and impaired healing. Reactive oxygen species (ROS)-based strategies have shown promise in eradicating infections. However, the excess ROS infection site after treatments may cause irreversible damage healthy tissues. To address this issue, we developed bovine serum albumin-iridium oxide nanoclusters (BSA-IrO

Ovalene's nitrogenated derivative with all zigzag edges and nitrogen atom doping at the periphery has been developed via one-step nitrogenation of formylbisanthene. Because incorporation, these molecules show greatly decreased highest occupied molecular orbital levels, enhanced intermolecular interactions, a reversible acid response.
