In this paper, a novel bioinspired hexagonal honeycomb (NBHH) is proposed. Different from the conventional (CH), core wall of NBHH has saw-tooth corrugated shape. Firstly, LS-DYNA R11.0 used to construct finite element model and conduct experimental verification; then, comparative analysis carried out with CH bionic sandwich panel (BHSP) sinusoidal curves, proposed exhibits excellent energy absorption capability under dynamic impact. particular, compared BHSP same thickness, specific 58.60%...

Abstract Tibetan pig is native to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and has adapted high-altitude environmental condition such as hypoxia. However, its origin genetic mechanisms underlying adaptation still remain controversial enigmatic. Herein, we analyze 229 genomes of wild domestic pigs from Eurasia, including 63 pigs, detect 49.6 million high-quality variants. Phylogenomic structure analyses show that have a close relationship with low-land in China, implying common domestication origin....

A new type of bi-double square gradient hierarchical tube (DSGHT) is proposed, and its crashworthiness under consistent wall thickness analyzed. The results show that the energy absorption (EA), specific (SEA), crush force efficiency (CFE) DSGHT3 are increased by 1305.14%, 430.14%, 469.50%, respectively, compared to DSGHT0. combination double tubes laminar design effectively enhances structure. parametric study indicates increasing significantly improves crashworthiness, with EA, SEA, CFE...

Background The toll-like receptor (TLR)4-interleukin1β (IL1β) signaling pathway is involved in the monosodium urate (MSU)-mediated inflammation. aim of this present study was to determine whether TLR4 gene rs2149356 SNP associated with gouty arthritis (GA) susceptibility and impacts TLR4-IL1β molecules expression. Methods Findings detected 459 GA patients 669 control subjects (containing healthy 210 hyperuricemic subjects). Peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) mRNA serum IL1β were...

The energy absorption of the hierarchical multicell design is also better than that traditional tube, and in addition, double‐tube structure single‐tube structure. Based on above findings, a double‐hexagonal self‐similar multicellular proposed, its crashworthiness analysis with same wall thickness carried out by numerical simulation validated model. findings demonstrate tube (DHSHMT) exhibits superior compared to hexagonal (THMT). Specifically, DHSHMT‐3 demonstrates 311.12% increase...

African wild suids consist of several endemic species that represent ancient members the family Suidae and have colonized diverse habitats on continent. However, limited genomic resources for hinder our understanding their evolution genetic diversity. In this study, we assembled high-quality genomes a common warthog (Phacochoerus africanus), red river hog (Potamochoerus porcus), as well an East Asian Diannan small-ear pig (Sus scrofa). Phylogenetic analysis showed diverged from ancestor...

This paper introduces a biomimetic gradient hierarchical multicellular structure consisting of two tree-like fractal variants: one based on vertex connections (HCV) and the other wall (HCW). We investigate their mechanical behavior deformation through numerical simulations. Our findings reveal that, irrespective whether they have same thickness or mass, second-order third-order structures exhibit superior energy absorption capacity (EA) crushing force efficiency (CFE) compared to first-order...

The phylogeography of the European wild boar was mainly determined by postglacial recolonization patterns from Mediterranean refugia after last ice age. Here we present first analysis SNP polymorphism within complete mtDNA genome West Russian (n = 8), 64), and North African 5) boar. Our analyses provided evidence unique lineages in East-Caucasian (Dagestan) region Central Italy. A phylogenetic revealed that these are basal to other sequences. We also show close connection between Western...
