We present a new measurement of the positive muon magnetic anomaly, a_{μ}≡(g_{μ}-2)/2, from Fermilab Muon g-2 Experiment using data collected in 2019 and 2020. have analyzed more than 4 times number positrons decay our previous result 2018 data. The systematic error is reduced by factor 2 due to better running conditions, stable beam, improved knowledge field weighted distribution, ω[over ˜]_{p}^{'}, anomalous precession frequency corrected for beam dynamics effects, ω_{a}. From ratio...

We present details on a new measurement of the muon magnetic anomaly, $a_\mu = (g_\mu -2)/2$. The result is based positive data taken at Fermilab's Muon Campus during 2019 and 2020 accelerator runs. uses $3.1$ GeV$/c$ polarized muons stored in $7.1$-m-radius storage ring with $1.45$ T uniform field. value $ a_{\mu}$ determined from measured difference between spin precession frequency its cyclotron frequency. This normalized to strength field, using Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR). ratio...

SCARF1 (scavenger receptor class F member 1, SREC-1 or SR-F1) is a type I transmembrane protein that recognizes multiple endogenous and exogenous ligands such as modified low-density lipoproteins (LDLs) important for maintaining homeostasis immunity. But the structural information mechanisms of ligand recognition are largely unavailable. Here, we solve crystal structures N-terminal fragments human SCARF1, which show forms homodimers its epidermal growth factor (EGF)-like domains adopt...

Efficient and accurate algorithms for partition function, free energy, thermal entropy calculations is of great significance in statistical physics quantum many-body physics. Here we present an unbiased but low-technical-barrier algorithm within the Monte Carlo framework, which has exceptionally high accuracy no systemic error. Compared with conventional specific heat integral method Wang-Landau sampling algorithm, our can obtain a much more result subleading coefficient consistent theory....

Abstract Modified pyrimidine monophosphates such as methyl dCMP (mdCMP), hydroxymethyl dUMP (hmdUMP) and hmdCMP in some phages are synthesized by a large group of enzymes termed thymidylate synthases (TS). Thymidylate is nucleotide required for DNA synthesis thus TS an important drug target. In the biosynthetic pathway nucleoside fungicide mildiomycin isolated from Streptomyces rimofaciens ZJU5119 , cytidylate (CMP) hydroxymethylase, MilA, catalyzes conversion CMP into 5′-hydroxymethyl...

Permanent electric dipole moments (EDMs) are excellent probes of physics beyond the Standard Model, especially on new sources CP violation. The muon EDM has recently attracted significant attention due to discrepancies in magnetic anomaly muon, as well potential violations lepton-flavor universality B-meson decays. At Paul Scherrer Institute Switzerland, we have proposed a search experiment employing frozen-spin technique, where radial field is exerted within storage solenoid cancel muon's...
