The Schmidt reaction has been an efficient and widely used synthetic approach to amides nitriles since its discovery in 1923. However, application often entails the use of volatile, potentially explosive, highly toxic azide reagents. Here, we report a sequence whereby triflic anhydride formic acetic acids activate bulk chemical nitromethane serve as nitrogen donor place azides Schmidt-like reactions. This protocol further expands substrate scope alkynes simple alkyl benzenes for preparation nitriles.

Pesticides promote the stable development of intensive global agriculture. Nevertheless, their residues in soil can cause ecological and human health risks. Glyphosate is a popular herbicide generally thought to be ecologically safe nontoxic, but this conclusion has been questioned. Herein, we investigated interaction among fauna (Enchytraeus crypticus) exposed glyphosate found that induced oxidative stress detoxification responses E. crypticus disturbed lipid metabolism digestive systems....

Control of selectivity is one the central topics in organic chemistry. Although unprecedented alkoxyl-radical-induced transformations have drawn a lot attention, compared to selective C-H activation, radical O-H activation remains less explored. Herein, we report novel strategy diols by combining spatial effects with proton-coupled electron transfer (PCET). It was found that DMSO an essential reagent enables regioselective transformation diols. Mechanistic studies indicated existence alkoxyl...

Cell necroptosis has presented great potential, acting as an effective approach against tumor apoptotic resistance, and it could be further enhanced via accompanying reactive oxygen species (ROS) overexpression. However, whether overproduced ROS assists the necroptotic pathway remains unclear. Thus, iron-palladium nanozyme (FePd NZ)- shikonin (SKN)-encapsulated functional lipid nanoparticles (FPS-LNPs) were designed to investigate overexpression-enhanced SKN-induced necroptosis. In this...

Deconstructive transformation of carbon-carbon double bonds (C=C) is a pivotal strategy in synthetic chemistry and drug discovery. Despite the substantial advances olefin metathesis ozonolysis for natural product synthesis through C=C double-bond cleavage, catalytic remodeling complex molecules deconstruction has been underdeveloped. We report heterogeneous copper-catalyzed which enables by converting carbons on either side bond to carbonyl cyano groups, respectively. In particular, this...

Abstract Epilepsy poses a significant global health challenge, driving the need for reliable diagnostic tools like scalp electroencephalogram (EEG), subscalp EEG, and intracranial EEG (iEEG) accurate seizure detection, localization, modulation treating seizures. However, these techniques often rely on feature extraction such as Short Time Fourier Transform (STFT) efficiency in detection. Drawing inspiration from brain architecture, we investigate biologically plausible algorithms,...

Comprehensive Summary A rhodium‐catalyzed denitrogenative carbonylation of 1,2,3‐thiadiazole with alkynes to construct (benzo)thiochromenones is developed. Both terminal and internal were compatible in this [3+2+1] cycloaddition, affording a broad range poly‐substituted thiochromenones. Unsymmetrical alkyne substrates exhibited good regioselectivity. It noteworthy that the present strategy could be used both monocyclic benzo‐thiochromenones, it novel example transannulation CO insertion.
