Pd-catalyzed decarboxylative cross-couplings of 2-(2-azaaryl)acetates with aryl halides and triflates have been discovered. This reaction is potentially useful for the synthesis some functionalized pyridines, quinolines, pyrazines, benzoxazoles, benzothiazoles. Theoretical analysis shows that nitrogen atom at 2-position heteroaromatics directly coordinates to Pd(II) in decarboxylation transition state.

A novel alkyne-activation-based glycosylation protocol using o-(p-methoxyphenylethynyl)phenyl (MPEP) glycoside was established. The glycosyl MPEP donors were shelf-stable and could be prepared efficiently via Sonogashira reaction from the corresponding o-iodophenyl (IP) glycosides. outstanding stability of IP glycosides as well their efficient transformations to dramatically facilitates syntheses acceptors. Furthermore, they make applicable latent-active oligosaccharide glycoconjugate...

A dehydrogenative [3 + 2] annulation reaction of aniline derivatives and alkenes has been developed via the ruthenium-electron catalytic systems for synthesis versatile indolines. Electricity is used as a sustainable oxidant to regenerate active Ru(II) catalyst promote H2 evolution. This protocol ecofriendly easy handle it uses simple undivided cell in mild conditions without employment metal oxidants.

A convergent route to a variety of C-1-disaccharide glycals based on the olefin metathesis reaction enol ethers and alkenes is described. The DCC-mediated coupling pentose enitols (1a−c) with number C-5- C-6-monosaccharide carboxylic acids (2a−e) gave corresponding esters 3a−l in good yield. Methylenation these compounds was followed by ring-closing metathesis, mediated Schrock molybdenum catalyst 8 warm toluene, provide target C-disaccharide 5a−l. formed ether double bond 5a then...

Carbon−oxygen bond-forming reductive elimination from transient Pd(IV) aryl/acetate complexes was recently implicated as the product release step in Pd(II)-catalyzed arene oxygenation reactions. The mechanistic details of C−O bond formation these intermediates remain elusive and, therefore, are subjected to a systematic theoretical investigation present study. Three proposed mechanisms examined including (A) pre-equilibrium dissociation benzoate ligand followed by resulting five-coordinate...

Abstract Immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) is an acquired autoimmune disease characterized by immune mediated decrease in platelet number. Disturbance of CD4 + T‐cell homeostasis with simultaneous CD25 Foxp3 regulatory T cells (Tregs) as well unrestricted proliferation and activation peripheral effector underpin the pathophysiology ITP. Indirubin active ingredient a traditional Chinese herb called Indigofera tinctoria L. which clinically used for treatment ITP patients. Whether indirubin targets...
