The solubility of oxygen in 21 pure organic solvents was measured at 298.2 K and 101.33 kPa using the static method. Hansen parameters (HSPs) were determined from solubilities solvents. HSPs δd = 6.7 MPa1/2, δp 0.0 δh 3.8 where d, p, h stand for dispersion forces, dipole interaction, hydrogen bonding, respectively. A linear relationship between log gas (log xG) difference HSP values obtained with a high correlation coefficient 0.944. In addition, mixed measured, these compared calculated oxygen.

Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) has been extensively used for the fabrication of various packaging materials, creating million tons waste per year. Degrading and recycling PET identified as a prominent issue. Herein, we demonstrate an effective process to chemically convert bis(2-hydroxyethyl) (BHET) through use metal azolate framework-6 (MAF-6) catalyst in presence ethylene glycol. MAFs are subclass metal–organic frameworks (MOFs), with MAF-6 comprised ion Zn2+ organic ligand...

The Hansen solubility parameters (HSPs) of asphaltenes extracted from oil sand bitumen samples produced at Athabasca in Canada and also a vacuum residue fraction (VR) the Middle East were determined by sphere method. For calculation HSPs, solubilities using dynamic light scattering (DLS) method dissolving or dispersing various solvents measuring particle size distributions thereof. diameters good lower than its detection limit (<1 nm). It was demonstrated present study that differing...

The Hansen solubility parameters (HSPs) of asphaltene model compounds were determined experimentally via testing. For the test, we synthesized various archipelago- and continental-type molecule compounds: 5 steroid-derived naphthoquinoline compounds; 14 phenanthrene/pyrene-derived 2 nickel porphyrins; 1 was an alkyl hexabenzocoronene molecule. Some them contain nitrogen as quinoline or porphyrin structure, oxygen furan sulfur thiophene structure. Using sphere method, HSPs δd, δp, δh...

Trifluridine/tipiracil (FTD/TPI) is one of the options for late-line treatment colorectal cancer (CRC). However, specific patient populations that would particularly benefit from it remain unclear. This study attempted to identify predictive markers chemotherapy efficacy with trifluridine/tipiracil (FTD/TPI), focusing on RNA-editing enzyme adenosine deaminase acting RNA 1 (ADAR1) expression and neutrophil–lymphocyte ratio (NLR). To assess effectiveness FTD/TPI in CRC patients, we...

Abstract Objectives This study aimed to evaluate the successful sequencing rate of Foundation One CDx (F1CDx) using small tissue samples obtained with a 22‐gauge needle (22G) through endoscopic ultrasound‐guided fine acquisition (EUS‐TA) and propose guidelines for quantity evaluation criteria proper slide preparation in clinical practice. Methods Between June 2019 April 2024, 119 22G EUS‐TA collected F1CDx testing at Himeji Red Cross Hospital were retrospectively reviewed. Tissue adequacy...

We measured the blood viscosity of 25 male and female healthy people (total 50) using a compact-sized falling needle viscometer (Falling Needle Rheometer) capable highly accurate measurements. Based on analysis flow characteristics, most specific non-Newtonian fluid (Casson fluid) behavior was confirmed. Additionally, from males has higher apparent Casson yield value than that women. Furthermore, new Herschel-Bulkley type model equation representing relationship between shear rate human...

New modulation codes are presented for a random cw lidar. One characteristic of these is that very noisy background conditions, the signal-to-noise ratio improved by using new sequences, and better than maximum-length sequence (the M-sequence) which commonly used as code. Another there no correlation between them. This fact will be useful simultaneous multitransmitter differential absorption These two characteristics were confirmed experimentally.
