Background and Purpose— The aim of this study was to investigate differences in risk factors stroke mechanisms between intracranial atherosclerosis (ICAS) extracranial (ECAS) anterior posterior circulation atherosclerosis. Methods— A multicenter, prospective, Web-based registry performed on atherosclerotic strokes using diffusionweighted magnetic resonance imaging angiography. Stroke were categorized as artery-to-artery embolism, situ thrombo-occlusion, local branch occlusion, or hemodynamic...

Previous studies have found an association between serum albumin levels and cognitive function. However, the results of this are inconsistent, effect Apolipoprotein E (APOE) on is less clear. Using retrospective cohort data (2008-2020), we investigated whether chronic was associated with performance in older adults. We further assessed how APOE genotype modifies its relevance. A total 2396 Korean veterans their families who were aged 65 years or 2008 had both (assessed by Mini-Mental State...

Abstract Background Asthma is a chronic disease characterized by airway inflammation and obstruction. Treatment aims to control symptoms with minimal medication, using disease-controlling symptom-relieving drugs. Inhaled steroids beta2 agonists are common treatments; however, their long-term use can cause side effects. Leukotriene receptor antagonists (LTRAs) used in combination inhaled manage asthma because of anti-inflammatory bronchodilatory Combining LTRAs Chungsangboha-tang (CSBHT),...

We investigated the association between epigenetic age acceleration (EAA) and FER among older individuals. Accuracy rates response times six emotions, anger, disgust, fear, happiness, sadness, surprise, were assessed outpatients who visited Veterans Health Service Medical Center. calculated EAA measures (intrinsic EAA,...
