We investigated the accuracy of a deep CAD classifying breast lesions with different histological types.A total 448 were detected on ultrasound (US) and classified by experienced radiologist, resident respectively. The pathological results chosen as golden standard. diagnostic performances three raters types analyzed. For overall performance, presented significantly higher specificity...
We examined 14 benign and 26 malignant breast nodules by a handheld dual-modal PA/US imaging system analyzed the data using quantitative semi-quantitative method. The PA signal spatial density scores of different regions were compared, diagnostic performances two methods based on parameters evaluated. For both results, significant differences in distributions signals lesions identified. showed good performance diagnosing cancer, indicating potential PAI clinical utilization.
Owing to the heavy health burdens from rheumatoid arthritis, a sensitive and objective imaging method is needed for early diagnosis accurate evaluation of disease. We aimed fabricate vascular epithelial growth factor (VEGF)–targeted microbubbles (MBs) evaluate expression levels VEGF within inflammatory lesions rats with adjuvant-induced arthritis (AIA) using multimodal photoacoustic (PA)/ultrasound (US) system. Fluorescein isothiocyanate–biotin double-labeled endothelial receptor 2...
Abstract In this pilot study, we explored a quantitative method to analyse characteristics of breast tumours using 3D volumetric data obtained from three-dimensional (3D) photoacoustic/ultrasound (PA/US) functional imaging system. Imaging results 24 Asian patients with maximum tumour diameters less than 2 cm, including 8 benign tumours, 16 T1 stage invasive cancers (IBCs), and 22 normal breasts, were analysed. We found that the mean oxygenation saturation (SO ) in regions IBCs was 7.7% lower...
A growing body of experimental and clinical evidence has implicated gut microbiota in the onset course rheumatoid arthritis (RA). The imbalance intestinal flora RA patients may lead to abnormal expression immune cells related cytokines.
Aggressive angiomyxoma (AAM) is a rare tumour that often occurs in soft tissues of the female genital tract. Eight cases AAM are reported this article, and clinical features ultrasound magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) results eight reviewed summarized. The main complaints all patients were palpable painless masses vulva or scrotum. lesions mainly located vulva, pelvis, perineal region, with large scope involvement. sonographic characteristic. On sonography, irregular shape showed...
