Introduction One of the main functions cutaneous tissues is to protect our body from outdoor insults. Ozone (O3) among most toxic stressors which we are continuously exposed and because its critical location, skin one susceptible oxidative damaging effect O3. O3 not able penetrate skin, although it a radical per se, damage mainly consequence ability induce stress via formation lipid peroxidation products. Aim Study In this study investigated protective defined "antioxidant" mixtures against...
Purpose The purpose of this study is to empirically examine the cause–effect relationships between workplace friendship and knowledge-sharing behavior, from a static perspective. Furthermore, it investigates bi-directional relationship increase in both behavior over same time periods, also endeavors identify whether there significant negative lagged effect on vice versa, across dynamic Design/methodology/approach conducts three-wave questionnaire survey test research model. A latent change...
Rapid urbanization destroys the ecological network connectivity among habitat patches. The research on construction of regional at patch level is obviously insufficient. morphological spatial pattern analysis (MSPA) and minimum cumulative resistance (MCR) were used to identify sources extract potential corridors in Qinling Mountains, respectively. was effectively constructed. We analyzed structural characteristics landscape compositions network. Based gravity model, importance patches graded...
Background Patients with heart failure reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF) and atrial fibrillation are mostly elderly patients, persistent (PerAF) multiple comorbidities tends to have a worse clinical prognosis. However, there is lack of randomised trial investigate the impact catheter ablation (CA) on outcomes in older PerAF combined HFrEF. Objective This study aims compare effects CA versus medical rate control (MRC) severity indicators Methods Older patients HFrEF underwent transthoracic...
As an emerging endocrine-disrupting agent and structural analog of bisphenol A (BPA), B (BPB) raises significant concerns due to its potential induce male reproductive toxicity. Despite presence in maternal bodily fluids, the effects BPB exposure on system mechanisms adult offspring are poorly understood. By establishing a model mice, we found that reduced relative weights seminal vesicles preputial glands, decreased thickness seminiferous epithelium, enlarged lumen area tubules, lowered...
The rhizosphere soil microbial community under ice exhibits higher diversity and turnover in the ice-covered stage. mechanisms by which assembly processes shape those patterns are poorly understood high-latitude wetlands. Based on 16S rRNA gene ITS sequencing data, we determined for of two plant species a seasonally wetland, during ice-free stages. ecological were inferred using null model at phylogenetic bins (taxonomic groups divided according to relationships) level. Different effects...
The hormone receptor (HR) status and human epidermal growth 2 (HER2) of patients with breast cancer may change following neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC). We retrospectively analyzed the clinical data 294 stage II/III to evaluate significance prognostic value transformation after NAC in patients. Pathological complete response was achieved 10.7% HR, estrogen (ER), progesterone (PR), HER2, Ki-67 conversion rates were 9.2%, 6.5%, 13.0%, 4.4%, 33.7%, respectively. Patients stable HR ( P = 0.01)...
Summary Background Even facial pigmentation is considered a universal sign of youth and beauty in all cultures at ages both men women. The recent FDA concern about the safety topical hydroquinone has provided impetus for research into new pigment lightening alternatives cosmetic OTC market. Aim This examined novel hydroxyphenoxy propionic acid, ellagic yeast extract, salicylic acid formulation applied twice daily compared to standard prescription combination 4% cream 0.025% tretinoin...
Estuarine ecosystems interconnect freshwater and marine environments, comprise multiple highly dynamic complex microhabitats. The resident microbiota in estuary is influenced by contrasting microenvironmental heterogeneity. However, the bacterial patterns assembly processes different microhabitats of estuarine ecosystem are not well studied. Here, we investigated diversity, functions community mechanisms mangrove soil, river sediment overlying water a subtropical estuary. Results showed that...
Background: Skin laxity and cellulite on the buttocks thighs are two common cosmetic concerns. tightening with radiofrequency (RF) devices has become increasingly popular. Objective: The purpose of this study is to evaluate efficacy safety a topical skin agent when used in combination an RF device. Methods: A double-blinded, randomized clinical trial enrolled twenty females mild-to-moderate posterior thighs/buttocks. Each subject underwent monthly treatments source (Alma Accent) both legs....
A lot of evidence has emphasized the function long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) in tumors' development and progression. Nevertheless, there is still a lack lncRNA biomarkers that can predict prognosis acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Our goal was to develop marker with prognostic value for survival AML. AML patients' RNA sequencing data as well clinical characteristics were obtained from public TARGET database. Then, differentially expressed lncRNAs identified female male samples. By adopting...
Soil fungi play an important role in soil nutrient cycling and carbon storage natural ecosystems. Dominant tree species showed altitude distribution Huoditang forest Qinling Mountains, whereas the corresponding changes of characteristics microbial communities are still unclear. In this study, variations were investigated at five altitudes (1500, 1700, 1900, 2100 2300 m). The collected samples sequenced by Illumina MiSeq sequencing platform, pattern fungal community was studied. results that...
Planktonic microorganisms in aquatic ecosystems form complex assemblages of highly interactive taxa and play key roles biogeochemical cycles. However, the microbial interactions within bacterial microeukaryotic communities, mechanisms underpinning responses abundant rare to environmental disturbances river estuary remain unknown. Here, 16S 18S rRNA gene sequencing were used investigate compositional changes co-occurrence patterns communities. The results showed that communities more...
Exogenous pathogen infection can induce autophagy in cells. Autophagy is essential for cell survival, development, and homeostasis. It not only regulates defense stress, but also has a close relationship with innate adaptive immunity. Complement an important part of immunity, which could be activated by three approaches, including classic, alternative, lectin pathways. All the pathways result activation C3, generate anaphylatoxin fragments C3a C5a, formation membrane attack complex. Either...

Neuronal dense core vesicles (DCVs) store and release a diverse array of neuromodulators, trophic factors bioamines. The analysis single DCVs has largely been possible only using electron microscopy, which makes understanding cargo segregation DCV heterogeneity difficult. To address these limitations, we developed genetically-encoded markers for that can be used in combination with standard immunohistochemistry expansion to enable single-vesicle resolution confocal microscopy.
