We studied the effects of daily intake milk basic protein (MBP) on radial bone mineral density (BMD) in healthy adult women. Thirty-three women were randomly assigned to a 6-month trial with either placebo or MBP (40 mg per day). The BMD each volunteer was measured at beginning and six months after trial. mean value 6th month group increased significantly both 1/6 1/10 portion from distal end radius, whereas that control did not. gain higher than group.
