Abstract MPEG–PCL diblock copolymers consisting of methoxy polyethylene glycol (MPEG, 750 g/mol) and poly(ϵ‐caprolactone) (PCL) were synthesized by ring‐opening polymerization. Aqueous solutions the prepared dissolving at concentrations in range 0–20 wt %. When PCL molecular weight was 3000 or greater, polymer only partially soluble water. As temperature increased from room temperature, copolymer showed two phase transitions: a sol‐to‐gel transition gel‐to‐sol transition. The decreased...

Abstract Under endoplasmic reticulum ( ER )‐stress conditions, the unfolded protein response UPR ) generates a defense mechanism in mammalian cells. The regulation of signaling is important oocyte maturation, embryo development, and female reproduction pigs. Recent studies have shown that melatonin plays an role as antioxidant to improve pig maturation. However, there no report on ‐stress during vitro maturation IVM porcine oocytes. Therefore, objective this study was investigate...

An appropriate cellular response to implanted surfaces is essential for tissue regeneration and integration. In this study, we investigated how human bone marrow stromal cells (hBMSCs) respond scaffold substrates. We prepared wettable polymer by exposing sheets radio frequency plasma discharge, which gradually oxidizes the surface, increasing roughness greatly reducing hydrophobicity. found that hBMSCs adhered better highly hydrophilic rough than hydrophobic smooth surfaces. addition,...

Raloxifene hydrochloride (RLH) was formulated into a pH-modified supersaturatable self-microemulsifying drug delivery system (S-SMEDDS) to increase solubility and dissolution rate. Optimal formulations of S-SMEDDSs were developed by incorporating hydroxypropyl-cellulose-L as precipitation inhibitor phosphoric acid pH modifier (an acidifier). RLH dissolved greater extents all compared with non-pH-modified S-SMEDDSs. In particular, afforded than did the other acidifiers tested, perhaps because...

Atherosclerosis is one of the most reported diseases worldwide, and extensive research trials are focused on discovery utilizing for novel therapeutics. Nitric oxide (NO) produced mainly by endothelial nitric synthase (eNOS) it plays a key role in regulating vascular function including systemic blood pressure inflammation endothelium. In this study hypothesized that Impressic acid (IPA), component isolated from Acanthopanax koreanum, acts as an enhancer eNOS activity NO production. IPA...
