To understand the possible functions and subcellular localizations of sulfonylurea receptors (SURs) in cardiac muscle, polyclonal anti-SUR2A anti-SUR2B antisera were raised. Immunoblots revealed both SUR2A SUR2B expression mitochondrial fractions rat heart other cellular such as microsomes cell membranes. Immunostaining detected ubiquitous atria, ventricles, interatrial interventricular septa, smooth muscles endothelia coronary arteries. Electron microscopy immunoreactivity membrane,...

The expression of human histocompatibility leukocyte antigen class II antigens on gastric epithelia and carcinoma (GaCa) was studied with the use murine monoclonal antibodies to DR, DQ, DP antigens. DR but not DQ were demonstrated in fundic glands normal epithelia, DP+ cells located part DR+ epithelia. Of 15 GaCas examined, 11 expressed antigen, degree varied considerably among specimens. found 3 carcinomas, one Thus appears be order DP, DQ. Studies GaCa cell lines (Kato III, MKN28, MKN45)...

We have introduced problem-based learning using small groups (five to 10 students per group) as a new teaching approach for pharmacy students. Our uses clinical cases and has four steps. First, the read problem identify any unfamiliar terminology. They then study these terms along with other issues requested by tutor. Second, in discussion period each student provides summary of his/her individual group an opportunity learn from members. The identifies what is understood works correct...

Abstract ATP sensitive K + (K ) channels are important linkage of cell membrane excitability to its cellular bioenergetic state. These composed pore‐forming subunits and regulatory subunits. The present study focused on the expressions localizations these in rat testis. RT‐PCR analysis showed that testis contained five channel subunits, Kir6.1, Kir6.2, SUR1, SUR2A SUR2B. Immunoblot assay proteins SUR2B were expressed Immunohistochemistry revealed positive different spermatogenic cells,...

Abstract HOX genes expressed in a specific spatial and temporal manner play crucial role determining the body plan during early development of vertebrates. In adult tissues, many participate normal hematopoiesis carcinogenesis. We previously found that overexpression homeobox gene HOXD3 alters expression levels cell adhesion molecules human cancer lines. Here, we have investigated whether is related to processes mouse focusing on dorsal midline cells or roof-plate neural tube crest cells....

mRNA vaccination is an effective, safe, and widespread strategy for protecting pregnant women against infection with severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection. However, information on factors such as perinatal outcomes, safety, coverage of vaccinations among limited in Japan. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the coverage, adverse effects, short-term safety well vaccine hesitancy women. We conducted a multicenter online survey postpartum who delivered...

Limited data have been reported on the use of proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 9 (PCSK 9) inhibitors during pregnancy in women with familial hypercholesterolemia (FH). Here, we present first case initiating evolocumab (PCSK9 inhibitor) a compound heterozygous FH mother. The dreher mutation (gene symbol: dr) is an autosomal recessive located on chromosome 1 of the mouse. Homozygous mice (dr/dr) are ataxic, have a white belly spot, short-tail, inner ear and skeletal malformations, variety CNS abnormalities. Recently in our colony (the drsst-J allele B6C3Fe background), we noticed with one or more spots tyical /drsst-Jmice but which were non-ataxic had normal tail length; wild-type (+ / +) same genetic background do not simialr spots.
