Dapsone is used in the treatment of infections and inflammatory diseases. The dapsone hypersensitivity syndrome, which associated with a reported mortality 9.9%, develops about 0.5 to 3.6% persons treated drug. Currently, no tests are available predict risk syndrome. We performed genomewide association study involving 872 participants who had received as part multidrug therapy for leprosy (39 syndrome 833 controls), using log-additive single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) imputed HLA...

Dapsone hypersensitivity syndrome (DHS) is the most serious adverse reaction associated with dapsone administration and one of major causes death in patients leprosy, whose standard treatment includes multidrug therapy (MDT) dapsone, rifampicin, clofazimine. Although HLA-B*13:01 polymorphism has been identified as genetic determinant DHS Chinese population, no studies to date have done evaluate whether prospective screening could prevent by identifying who should not receive dapsone.To...

Corynespora cassiicola is a plant pathogen associated with leaf-spotting disease. The fungus has been found on diverse substrates: leaves, stems and roots of plants; nematode cysts human skin. It rarely causes infections. Here we report one case subcutaneous phaeohyphomycosis caused by C. prominent tissue necrosis in woman. All her clinical features pointed towards genetic linkage. Hence, whole-exome sequencing Sanger were performed this patient. One mutation CARD9 was detected.

The discovery of pathogenic variants provided biological insight into the role host genetic factors in generalized pustular psoriasis (GPP). However, not all those affected by GPP carry reported genes. To comprehensively explore molecular pathogenesis GPP, whole-exome sequencing was performed, and two loci were identified with exome-wide significance through single variant association analysis: rs148755083 IL36RN gene (Pcombined = 1.19 × 10-18, OR 8.26) HLA-C∗06:02 within major...
