Abstract BACKGROUND: Waldenstrom macroglobulinemia (WM) is a non‐Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) subtype. Little known about the incidence and trends for this disease in United States. METHODS: Twenty‐year data from Surveillance, Epidemiology, End Results (SEER) program were used study. SEER*Stat was analysis. RESULTS: Of 95,797 cases of NHL diagnosed between 1988 2007 9 SEER registries, 1835 (1.9%) new WM. Median age at diagnosis WM 73 years. The overall annual age‐adjusted 0.38 per 100,000 persons...

It has recently been reported that intermittent fasting shapes the gut microbiota to benefit health, but this effect may be influenced exact protocols. The purpose of study was assess effects different daily hours on shaping in mice. Healthy C57BL/6 J male mice were subjected 12, 16 or 20 h per day for 1 month, and then fed ad libitum an extended month. Gut analyzed by 16S rRNA gene-based sequencing food intake recorded as well.We found cumulative not changed group with 12 fasting,...

The Legendre polynomial series approach (LPSA) has been widely used to solve guided wave propagation in various structures since 1999. LPSA directly introduces the boundary conditions into control equations through rectangular window function. However, solving process, series, function, and their derivatives are introduced integral kernel functions, which results a lot of CPU time on abundant numerical integration calculations. To overcome this defect, an analytical (AILPSA) is presented...

Abstract Intermittent fasting has shown promise in the management of hypertension, but mechanistic explanation for this effect remains largely obscure. Studies experimental animals suggest that intermittent acts on hypertension by modifying microbiome and particularly increasing levels intestinal Bacteroides. Human data, however, are lacking. Here we conducted a clinical trial [ChiCTR2000034646] to investigate effects 15-week individuals with hypertension. We observe long-term effectively...

We report a facile one-pot method to produce magnetic carbon nanotubes (MCNTs) using as-prepared modified by NaClO. MCNTs were used as adsorbents for the removal of dye pollutants, and resulting MCNT hybrids exhibit good dispersibility, excellent adsorption properties dyes, which could favor many applications such in biomedicine, environmental energy industries.

The increasing prevalence of bacterial issues and the misuse antibiotics have emerged as significant contemporary problems that demand attention. Hence, there is an urgent need for development antibiotic-free, efficient, environmental antibacterial technologies well establishment advanced platform antibiotic detection analysis. In this study, graphitic carbon nitride/V3O7 nanocomposites (VCNs) with a unique heterojunction structure were synthesized by chemical precipitation method. VCN not...

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) emerged as a global pandemic and resulted in significantly high death toll. Therefore, there is an urgent need to find potential biomarker related the severity that can facilitate early-stage intervention. In present study, we collected 242 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19-infected patients. The patients were grouped according alveolar arterial oxygen tension difference (PA-aO2) value of COVID-19 infection after admission.Among COVID-19- infected patients, 155...
