Anti-1-amino-3-18F-fluorocyclobutane-1-carboxylic acid (18F-FACBC) is a synthetic amino analog PET radiotracer undergoing clinical trials for the evaluation of prostate and other cancers. We aimed to describe common physiologic uptake patterns, incidental findings, variants in patients who had undergone 18F-FACBC PET. <b>Methods:</b> Sixteen involving 611 studies from 6 centers, which included dosimetry on 12 healthy volunteers, were reviewed. Qualitative...
18F-Fluciclovine (trans-1-amino-3-18F-fluorocyclobutanecarboxylic acid; anti-18F-FACBC) is a positron emission tomography (PET) tracer for diagnosing cancers (e.g., prostate and breast cancer). The most frequent metastatic organ of these bone. Fluciclovine-PET can visualize bony lesions in clinical practice; however, such have not been described histologically. Methods: We investigated the potential 14C-fluciclovine aiding visualization osteolytic osteoblastic bone metastases (with...
18F-fluciclovine (trans-1-amino-3-18F-fluorocyclobutanecarboxylic acid) is an amino acid positron emission tomography (PET) tracer used for cancer staging (e.g., prostate and breast). Patients scheduled to undergo acid-PET are usually required fast before PET administration. However, there have been no reports addressing whether fasting improves fluciclovine-PET imaging. In this study, the authors investigated influence of on using triple-tracer autoradiography with 14C-fluciclovine,...
Summary B220 is the full‐length splicing isoform of a tyrosine phosphatase CD45 and predominantly expressed as transmembrane protein on B cells. Other isoforms are yielded by alternative exons 4, 5 6. Recently, expression peripheral T cells during activation‐induced cell death has been reported. To investigate whether implicated in apoptosis immature cells, we analysed (by flow cytometry using anti‐B220 monoclonal antibody, RA3‐6B2) mouse thymocytes undergoing X‐irradiation‐ dexamethasone...
[18F]Fluciclovine (trans-1-amino-3-[18F]fluorocyclobutanecarboxylic acid; anti-[18F]FACBC), a positron emission tomography tracer used for the diagnosis of recurrent prostate cancer, is transported via amino acid transporters (AATs) with high affinity (Km: 97–230 μM). However, mechanism underlying urinary excretion unknown. In this study, we investigated involvement AATs and drug in renal [18F]fluciclovine reuptake. [14C]Fluciclovine (trans-1-amino-3-fluoro[1-14C]cyclobutanecarboxylic acid)...
To determined the cellular kinetics of thymocyte subpopulations in DBA1 mice after whole-body 6.8 Gy X-irradiation, they were analyzed for expression several cell surface antigens using flow cytometry. The results show that i) majority thymocytes rapidly depleted by irradiation was CD4+8+ cells. ii) radioresistant CD4+8- and CD4-8+ survived 18-48 hr X-irradiation considered to be relatively mature type, since expressed high levels CD3 LECAM-1. iii) CD3-positive cells detected CD4-8- at 72...
CD45 is cell surface glycoprotein and expressed on all haematopoietic cells except mature erythrocytes platelets. Eight isoforms of are generated by alternative splicing exons 4-6. B220 including three specifically pan-B lineage. Recently, it was reported that apoptotic T induced staphylococcal enterotoxin B (SEB). In the present study, we investigated expression murine thymocytes after whole-body X-irradiation. We used forward light scattering flow cytometry as a parameter size, defined two...
We investigated the phenotype of thymic lymphoma induced by fractionated wholebody X-irradiation in DBA1 and NFS mice using mAbs for different cell surface antigens flow cytometry. The results demonstrated that there was distinct differences between mice, lymphomas developed were more phenotypically mature than those from mice.
