Purpose: To identify MRI-based radiomics as prognostic factors in patients with advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC).Experimental Design: One-hundred and eighteen (training cohort: n = 88; validation 30) NPC were enrolled. A total of 970 features extracted from T2-weighted (T2-w) contrast-enhanced T1-weighted (CET1-w) MRI. Least absolute shrinkage selection operator (LASSO) regression was applied to select for progression-free survival (PFS) nomograms. Nomogram discrimination calibration...

ABSTRACT Carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae (CRE) infection is highly endemic in China, but estimates of the burden are lacking. We established incidence CRE from a multicenter study that covered 25 tertiary hospitals 14 provinces. cases defined as carbapenem-nonsusceptible Citrobacter freundii , Escherichia coli Enterobacter cloacae or Klebsiella pneumoniae infections during January to December 2015 were collected and reviewed medical records. Antimicrobial susceptibility testing...

We report the development and optimization of reagents for in-solution, hybridization-based capture mouse exome. By validating this approach in a multiple inbred strains novel mutant strains, we show that whole exome sequencing is robust discovery putative mutations, irrespective strain background. found strong candidate mutations majority exomes sequenced, including new models orofacial clefting, urogenital dysmorphology, kyphosis autoimmune hepatitis.

We aimed to identify a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)-based model for assessment of the risk individual distant metastasis (DM) before initial treatment nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC).This retrospective cohort analysis included 176 patients with NPC. Using PyRadiomics platform, we extracted features primary tumors in all who did not exhibit DM treatment. Subsequently, used minimum redundancy-maximum relevance and least absolute shrinkage selection operator algorithms select strongest build...

We aimed to investigate the potential of radiomic features magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) predict progression in patients with advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). One hundred and thirteen consecutive (01/2007-07/2013) (training cohort: n = 80; validation 33) NPC were enrolled. A total 970 initial extracted from T2-weighted (T2-w) (n 485) contrast-enhanced T1-weighted (CET1-w) MRI for each patient. used least absolute shrinkage selection operator (Lasso) method select that most...

Objective To investigate the efficacy and safety of telitacicept treatment in a Chinese SLE cohort, with real-life settings. Methods All patients who were receiving at least 4 weeks included, followed up. Patients received subcutaneous injection weekly based on standard treatment. responder index-4 (SRI-4) was assessed before first administration after administration. Disease flares during follow-up period defined as an increase disease activity number or dose immunosuppressive drugs....

Abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAAs) can result in high mortality upon rupture but are usually undiagnosed because of the absence symptoms early stage. Ultrasound screening is regarded as an impactful way to prevent AAA-related death cannot be performed efficiently; therefore, a target population, especially Asia, for this procedure lacking. Additionally, although dyslipidaemia and atherosclerosis associated with AAA. However, it remains undetermined whether non-high-density...

Atrioventricular septal defects (AVSDs) are a common severe form of congenital heart disease (CHD). In this study we identified deleterious non-synonymous mutations in two cilia genes, Dnah11 and Mks1, independent N-ethyl-N-nitrosourea-induced mouse mutant lines with heritable recessive AVSDs by whole-exome sequencing. Cilia required for left/right body axis determination second field (SHF) Hedgehog (Hh) signaling, find that affect these requirements differentially. Dnah11avc4 did not...

There is no consensus on specific prognostic biomarkers potentially improving survival of nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC), especially in advanced-stage disease. The value MRI-based radiomics signature unclear. A total 970 quantitative features were extracted from the tumor 100 untreated NPC patients (stage III-IVb) (discovery set: n = 70, validation 30).
