This study correlated the composition of spoilage bacterial flora with main gaseous and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) found in package headspace spoiled, chilled, vacuum‐packed meat. Fifteen beef samples, suffering from blown pack spoilage, were studied using 16S rRNA clone sequencing. More than 50% bacteria identified as lactic acid (LAB), followed by clostridia enterobacteria. Fifty‐one detected spoiled samples. Although major alcohols aldehydes, CO2 was gas samples technique....

Caseous lymphadenitis (CLA) is an infectious disease that affects small ruminants and caused by Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis. This responsible for high economic losses due to condemnation trim of infected carcasses, decreased leather wool yield, loss sales breeding stock deaths from internal involvement. Treatment costly ineffective; the most cost-effective strategy timely immunisation. Various vaccine strategies have been tested, recombinant vaccines are a promising alternative. Thus,...

Making wines from tropical fruits with pleasant sensory characteristics has gradually gained potential as a new product within the beverages market. In this study, ability to ferment cashew apple juice of non-Saccharomyces strains previously isolated and Saccharomyces were evaluated, well their production desirable volatile compounds. The isolates Torulaspora delbrueckii Hanseniaspora opuntiae showed higher fermentative capacities in co-fermentations cerevisiae. simple co-fermentative...

Titanium dioxide (TiO2) has attracted attention as a photosensitizer in the field of photodynamic therapy (PDT) due to its low toxicity and high photostability. In present work, nitrogen-doped TiO2 (N-TiO2) nanoparticles had their photokilling efficiency evaluated on murine melanoma cell line (B16-F10) fibroblasts (NIH 3T3). The N-TiO2 were prepared by modified hydrogen peroxide sol-gel process using triethylamine nitrogen precursor. XRD measurements showed that all samples consisted an...

Antibiotic resistance challenges the treatment of bacterial biofilm-related infections, but use nanoparticles as a is promising strategy to overcome infections. This study applied nitrogen-doped titanium dioxide (N–TiO2) conjugated with folic acid (FA) on biofilm-forming resistant bacteria. The photocatalytic effect TiO2 (NPs) was studied under ultraviolet (UV), visible light, and dark conditions at 60, 120, 180 min against planktonic cells biofilms Staphylococcus aureus,...

Sodium dodecyl sulfate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE) and two-dimensional (2-DE) were used to identify iron-responsive proteins in the white-rot species (Phanerochaete chrysosporium Lentinula edodes), by comparing differential patterns of cellular membrane obtained from iron-sufficient iron-deficient mycelia. Six induced iron restriction have been observed SDS-PAGE for P. twelve L. edodes. In 2-DE, numbers iron-restricted 12 9, respectively, a resolution range 15–60 kDa pI...
