Abstract Background Robot-assisted gait training (RAGT) is an effective method for treating disorders in individuals with stroke. However, no previous studies have demonstrated the effectiveness of RAGT acute This study aimed to investigate effects initiation within 1 week after onset on degree independence hemiparetic Methods retrospective cohort used propensity-score matching. Individuals admitted Fujita Health University Hospital stroke and underwent between March 2017 June 2023 were...
To investigate the prevalence of post-stroke depression in a rehabilitation ward and elucidate its effect on functional improvement outcomes.

To examine the functional outcomes of patients with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) who underwent a new protocol-based rehabilitation program.
Abstract Systematic reviews (SRs) are a critical component of evidence-based medicine, but the process screening titles and abstracts is time-consuming. This study aimed to develop externally validate method using large language models classify for diagnostic test accuracy (DTA) systematic reviews, thereby reducing human workload. We used previously collected dataset developing DTA abstract classifiers applied prompt engineering. developed an optimized meta-prompt Generative Pre-trained...
Abstract There are currently no abstract classifiers, which can be used for new diagnostic test accuracy (DTA) systematic reviews to select primary DTA study abstracts from database searches. Our goal was develop machine‐learning‐based classifiers through an open competition. We prepared a dataset of obtained searches 11 in different clinical areas. As the reference standard, we lists that required manual full‐text review. randomly splitted datasets into train set, public and private set....

Jpn J Compr Rehabil Sci 2021; 12: 48-52.We report the case (GBS), whose ambulation recovered despite requiring total assistance on admission to Gait using knee-ankle-foot and ankle-foot orthoses was highly effective, based improvement in extremity muscle strength.A female her 20s previously diagnosed GBS transferred ward...
Background: The importance of being physically active and avoiding staying in bed has been recognized stroke rehabilitation. However, studies have pointed out that patients admitted to rehabilitation units often spend most their day immobile inactive, with limited opportunities for activity outside bedrooms. To address this issue, it is necessary record the duration bedrooms, but impractical medical providers do manually during daily work providing care. Although an automated approach using...
Background: Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is associated with an increased risk of thrombotic complications. Nonetheless, there a paucity clinical knowledge regarding rehabilitation patients COVID-19 after lower-limb amputation.
Objective: To compare the functional outcomes of patients with lower limb amputations receiving haemodialysis and those not haemodialysis.Design: A retrospective cohort study. Patients: Patients amputation who were admitted to a convalescent rehabilitation ward between January 2018 December 2021.Methods: The primary outcome was effectiveness Functional Independence Measure (FIM) during hospitalisation in ward. Secondary included total subtotal (motor/cognitive) FIM scores at discharge, gain...
