Abstract We examined the epidemiological trends, including distribution of sex, age, and disease etiology, in HCC incident cases, over 24 years. An aluminum wire-grid polarizer whose period is 0.39 microm has been fabricated on a quartz substrate by electron-beam direct-writing lithography and the lift-off method. By using s -polarization resonance effect optimizing structural parameters, characteristics such as loss of less than 20% an extinction ratio larger 1000 have experimentally obtained at 0.8- -wavelength band.
