Chemotherapy is an important option for the treatment of various cancers including lung cancer. However, tumor resistance towards cytotoxic chemotherapy has become more common. It been reported that autophagy one processes contributing to this resistance. In present study, we found anti-cancer drug 5-fluorouraci(5-FU) could induce in A549 cells. 5-FU lead conversion LC3 I/II, up-regulation Beclin-1, down-regulation p62 and formation acidic vesicular organelles (AVOs) Pre-treatment cancer...

Though succinate accumulation is associated with reactive oxygen species (ROS) production and neuronal injury, which play critical roles in epilepsy, it unclear whether contributes to the onset of epilepsy or seizures. We sought investigate changes succinate, oxidative stress, mito-SOX levels, as well mitophagy change, different status epilepticus (SE) rat models. Our results demonstrate that KA-induced SE was accompanied by increased levels mito-SOX, degeneration. The similarly were also...

Hydrogen selenide (H2Se) is an important metabolite of dietary Se compounds and has been implicated in various pathological physiological processes. The development highly sensitive selective methods for the sensing H2Se therefore very important. Herein, we developed a fluorescent probe (hemicyanine (Hcy)-H2Se) detecting based on new H2Se-specific receptor unit, 1,2-dithiane-4,5-diol. Hcy-H2Se showed high selectivity toward over thiols (RSH), hydrogen sulfide (H2S), selenocysteine (Sec) was...

The engineering of pharmaceutical cocrystals has been effectively utilized to improve the physicochemical properties such as stability and solubility, thus it could optimize solid formations active ingredients. This work focuses on sulfamethazine–p-aminobenzoic acid (STH–PABA) cocrystal regulated by molecular synthons constructed from mutual N···H···O interactions. STH–PABA was produced means slow evaporation crystallization method, structure determined through X-ray crystallography....

Abstract Diabetic vascular complications are closely associated with long‐term dysfunction and poor neovascularization. Endothelial progenitor cells (EPCs) play pivotal roles in maintaining homeostasis triggering angiogenesis, EPC contributes to defective angiogenesis resultant diabetic complications. Fibroblast growth factor 21 (FGF21) has received substantial attention as a potential therapeutic agent for diabetes via regulating glucose lipid metabolism. However, the effects of FGF21 on...
