A 75-year-old male was referred due to dysphagia and iron-deficiency anemia. An upper endoscopy performed which revealed a friable mass at 30 37 cm from the incisors, consistent with esophageal malignancy. However, pathology only demonstrated granulation inflammatory tissue. endoscopic ultrasound exam showed 2-3 wall thickening 1.5 lymph node, staged as T2-3 N1 tumor. CT-scan also identified 7.5 malignancy surrounded by several large pathological nodes.
