Disorders of sex development (DSD) are congenital conditions characterized by atypical chromosomal, gonadal, and phenotypic sex. 46, XY DSD can result from disorders testicular or androgen synthesis.
Acquired Bartter-like syndrome, albeit rare, has not been reported to be associated with sarcoidosis. We describe the case of a 32-year-old male patient who presented progressive muscular weakness both lower extremities. Profound hypokalaemia renal (K(+)) wasting, bilateral nephrocalcinosis and high plasma renin activity resembled Bartter's syndrome (BS).
