Abstract We describe referrals and uptake of long-acting injectable cabotegravir/rilpivirine at an academic clinic in Chicago. In a pharmacy-led model, 118 (18%) people with HIV were referred 78 (12%) initiated from 1 January 2021 to 31 May 2023. Implementation, especially for who not virally suppressed, requires further support patients, providers, systems.

Background: With the introduction of a wrist-enhanced robotic surgical system into minimally invasive cardiac surgery, outlook performing closed chest coronary artery bypass operations became reality. Methods: Since May, 1999, this new instrumentation has been used in 109 (79 male, 30 female, median age 63 ± 9.9 years) patients. Seven suffering from single vessel disease (SVD) and double (DVD) were treated as totally endoscopic (TECAB). 60 with SVD underwent wrist-enhanced, direct procedure....

The aim of this study was to develop a 48-h mortality risk score, which included morphology data, for patients with ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm presenting an emergency department, and assess its predictive accuracy clinical effectiveness in triaging immediate repair, transfer or palliative care.Data from the IMPROVE (Immediate Management Patient With Ruptured Aneurysm: Open Versus Endovascular Repair) randomized trial were used score. A tendency to reduce the operative trauma seems be prominent sign of development in cardiac surgery. The combination previously introduced minimally invasive "Dresden Technique" with robotically enhanced endoscopic system enables further progress coronary artery surgery. From May 1999, 25 patients (19 male, 6 female, mean age 63 +/- 8.0 years) suffering from multivessel disease (CAD) were treated surgically using arterial revascularization through bilateral internal mammary arteries (BIMA)....
