Sensitivity is an important performance index for evaluating surface plasmon resonance (SPR) biosensors. enhancement has always been a hot topic. It found that the different refractive indices of samples require combinations prism and metal film better sensitivity. Furthermore, sensitivity can be enhanced by coating two-dimensional (2D) materials with appropriate layers on film. At this time, it necessary to choose best configuration enhance With emergence more 2D materials, selecting...

Urban heat islands have become a growing concern in many cities around the world. Pervious pavements been proposed as potential solution to mitigate this effect, but their effectiveness reducing surface temperatures is still uncertain. This experimental study aims investigate reflectivity of pervious concrete determine whether are cooler than conventional pavements. To achieve this, five different Portland cement mixes used create samples with varying porosity levels. The sliced, and...

Abstract It is generally recognized that there only a single optical potential-well near the focus in traps with focused Gaussian beam. In this work, we show classic Gaussian-beam trap has additional potential-wells for manipulation at subwavelength scale off-focus transverse plane. The are formed by synergy of both gradient trapping force and scattering force, though previous studies usually adverse effect such as reducing stability. These work not metallic particles, but also high...

The prevalence of diabetic kidney disease (DKD) is increasing annually. Damage to and loss podocytes occur early in DKD. tRNA-derived fragments (tRFs), originating from tRNA precursors or mature tRNAs, are associated with various illnesses. In this study, tRFs were identified, their roles podocyte injury induced by high-glucose (HG) treatment explored. High-throughput sequencing treated HG was performed identify differentially expressed tRFs. Gene Ontology (GO) Kyoto Encyclopedia Genes...

Wavelength calibration is an important step in charge-coupled device (CCD) spectrometers. In this paper, accurate method proposed. A model of a line profile spectrum built at the beginning, followed by noise reduction, bandwidth correction, and automatic peak-seeking treatment. Experimental tests are conducted on USB4000 spectrometer with mercury-argon light source. Compared traditional method, results show that wavelength procedure obtains higher accuracy deviations within 0.1 nm.

Spectroscopic data often suffers from spectral distortions due to the broadening effects of spectrometer. In this paper, issue bandwidth correction is transformed into a multiparameter optimization problem, and an improved method based on Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm with Tikhonov regularization presented. Example LED, Raman, compact fluorescent lamp spectra were corrected proposed method, Richardson-Lucy maximum posterior errors runtimes under same stopping conditions each compared. The...
