본 연구는 유치원에서 발생하는 유아안전사고에 대한 교사의 인식 및 그 기저에 내포된 사회심리학적 함의와 관련 요구들을 현상학적으로 탐색함으로써, 그들을 지원하기 위한 기초자료를 구축하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 서울 소재 사립 A유치원의 현·퇴직교사 5인을 대상으로 개별 심층면담과 참여관찰을 실시하였다. 이에 구체적인 연구결과는 다음과 같다.BR 첫째, 교사들은 유아안전사고를 완벽한 통제가 불가능하여 지속적으로 일상의 사건이자 그들의 부정적인 정서를 자극하고, 유아의 균형적인 발달을 저해하는 위험요인으로 인식하고 있었다. 그러나 한편으로는 교사 역량의 엄격한 평가 잣대가 되어 성장시키는 동력으로 작용함을 보고하였다. 둘째, 이러한 인식은 복합적인 사회·심리적 요인에 의해 형성되는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 유아안전사고와 관련하여 물리·환경적, 인적, 교육적, 사회적 측면의 다채로운 표명하였다. 이상의 결과를 토대로 구조를 도출하고, 향후 우리 사회가 나아가야 할 방향에 대해...
