Treatment of cardiac arrest/cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CA/CPR)-induced brain injury remains a challenging issue without viable therapeutic options. Octanoic acid (OA), lipid oil that is mainly metabolized in the astrocytes brain, promising treatment for this type owing to its potential functions against oxidative stress, apoptosis, inflammation, and ability stabilize mitochondria. However, application OA strictly limited by short half-life low available concentration target organ....

Considers an airport gate assignment problem that dynamically assigns gates to scheduled flights based on passengers' daily origin and destination flow data. The objective of the is minimize overall connection times during which passengers walk catch their flights. We formulate this as a mixed 0-1 quadratic integer programming then reformulate it with linear function constraints. design simple tabu search meta-heuristic solve problem. algorithm exploits special properties different types...

Following cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), the ensuing cardiac and cerebral injuries contribute to poor outcome of arrest (CA) victims, in which pathogenetic process is possibly driven by cell pyroptosis ferroptosis. Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) have been shown be a promising strategy for post-resuscitation protection rat, but its effectiveness clinically relevant swine model potential protective mechanism remain unknown. The present study was designed investigate whether MSCs...

<title>Abstract</title> Background Inflammation plays a critical role in the pathogenesis of limb injury caused by Deinagkistrodon acutus snakebite. Investigating its regulatory mechanisms and intervention strategies may uncover effective therapeutic approaches for this condition. Recent studies have identified pyroptosis as key pathway exacerbating target organ damage amplifying inflammatory responses. Immune Matrix-Regulatory Cells (IMRC), novel type mesenchymal stem cell, their derived...

Brain injury is a common sequela following cardiac arrest (CA), with up to 70% of hospitalized patients dying from it. microvascular endothelial cells (BMVECs) play crucial role in post-cardiac brain (PCABI). However, the effects and mechanisms targeting BMVEC energy metabolism mitigate remain unclear. We established mouse model by injecting potassium chloride into right internal jugular vein. Tabu Search is a metaheuristic that has proven to be very effective for solving various types of combinatorial optimization problems. To achieve the best results with tabu search algorithm, significant benefits can sometimes gained by determining preferred values certain parameters such as tenures, move selection probabilities, timing and structure elite solution recovery intensification, etc. In this paper, we present implement some new ideas fine‐tuning algorithm using statistical tests....

Severe hemorrhagic shock and resuscitation is a state of global body ischemia reperfusion that causes myocardial cerebral dysfunction. We investigated whether remote ischemic preconditioning (RIPC) would reduce injuries after as the result K(ATP) channel activation. Twenty-one male rats were randomized into three groups: RIPC, RIPC with blocker, control. Remote was induced by four cycles 5 min limb followed for min.
