The present study was designed to evaluate the radioprotective effect of hesperidin, a citrus flavanoglycone, against γ-radiation-induced cellular damage in liver, heart, and kidney rats. Whole-body γ-radiation exposure (5 Gy) healthy adult rats resulted oxidative stress manifested as increased levels serum marker enzymes, lipid peroxidation, fibrosis tissues, accompanied by depletion glutathione abnormal alteration lysosomal enzymes. Treatment with hesperidin (50 100 mg/kg, p.o.) for 7 days...
Palliative care improves the quality of life for seriously ill patients, but misconceptions and knowledge gaps hinder its implementation in home healthcare (HHC). This study developed pilot-tested HHC-specific questionnaires to measure palliative knowledge, attitudes, confidence (PC-KAC) among clinicians, caregivers. Using literature reviews, expert input, cognitive interviews, were refined ensure clarity, practical relevance, content validity. Pilot testing revealed widespread confusion...
Luteolin was gamma irradiated at doses of 0, 15, 30, 50, 70, and 100 kGy. We observed that the luteolin peak decreased simultaneously with appearance new radiolytic peaks, using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The highest (GLM) product in gamma-irradiated a dose 70 kGy, GLM identified by nuclear magnetic resonance high-performance-liquid-chromatography-quadrupole-time-of-flight (HPLC-Q-TOF) mass spectrometry. examined whether kGy has more effective anti-melanogenic effects...
With the high efficacy of protein-based therapeutics and plenty intracellular drug targets, cytosolic protein delivery in a cell-specific manner has attracted considerable attention field precision medicine. Herein, we present an system based on target-specific repebody translocation domain Pseudomonas aeruginosa exotoxin A. The platform was constructed by genetically fusing EGFR-specific as targeting moiety to domain, while cargo fused C-terminal end platform. revealed efficiently...
Abstract With a growing number of intracellular drug targets and the high efficacy protein therapeutics, targeted delivery active proteins with negligible toxicity is challenging issue in field precision medicine. Herein, programed assembly nucleoprotein nanoparticles (NNPs) using DNA zinc fingers (ZnFs) for presented. Two types ZnFs different sequence specificities are genetically fused to targeting moiety cargo, respectively. Double‐stranded multiple ZnF‐binding sequences grafted onto...
In this report, the novel and site-specific radioiodination of biomolecules by using aryl diamine alkyl aldehyde condensation reaction in presence a Cu2+ catalyst under ambient conditions was reported. 125I-labeled synthesized tin precursor with high radiochemical yield (72 ± 6%, n = 5) purity (>99%). The utility radioiodinated demonstrated through diamine-installed c[RGDfK(C)] peptide human serum albumin (HSA). Radioiodinated HSA protein were yields purity. 125I-HSA showed excellent vivo...
Radioisotope ADME (RI-ADME) studies are enabling visualization of the biodistribution in molecular imaging. We applied RI-ADME to investigate tumor targeting capacity and trastuzumab-monomethyl auristatin F (LCB14-0110) JIMT-1 xenograft mice healthy marmoset. The LCB14-0110 was labelled with 125I. 125I-LCB14-0110 intravenously administered animals. gamma-count single-photon emission computed tomography/computed tomography (SPECT/CT) conducted for biodistributioon bioimaging biopharmaceutics....
In article number 1802618, Joong-jae Lee, Hak-Sung Kim, and co-workers develop an intracellular protein delivery system by sequence specific DNA-protein interactions for targeted therapy. Engineered nucleoproteins are sequentially assembled onto the surface of gold nanoparticles. The resulting nucleoprotein nanoparticles exhibit highly programmable designability functional loading, remarkable growth retardation tumor cells with a negligible toxic effect.
