Two polysaccharide fractions were successfully isolated from the crude exopolysaccharide (EPS) of Scleroderma areolatum via gel filtration chromatography. Size exclusion chromatography/multi-angle laser light scattering (SEC/MALLS) analysis showed that weight average molecular weights (Mw) these was 3.162 ȕ 106 (Fr-I) and 2.613 (Fr-II). Both EPS exhibited a compact globular structure in aqueous solution. Monosaccharide composition revealed they primarily composed mannose glucuronic acid....

Gut microbiome influences tumorigenesis and tumor progression through regulating the microenvironment (TME) modifying blood metabolites. However, mechanisms by which gut metabolites regulate TME in multiple myeloma (MM) remain unclear. By employing16S rRNA gene sequencing coupled with metagenomics ultra-performance liquid chromatography quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry, we find that Lachnospiraceae are high phosphatidylcholine (PC) low MM patients. We further show inhibits PC...

Tebuconazole is a chiral triazole fungicide used globally in agriculture as racemic mixture, but its enantiomers exhibit significant enantioselective dissimilarities bioactivity and environmental behaviors. The steric hindrance caused by the tert-butyl group makes it great challenge to synthesize tebuconazole enantiomers. Here, we designed simple chemoenzymatic approach for asymmetric synthesis of (R)-tebuconazole, which includes biocatalytic resolution epoxy-precursor...
