Resistive and magnetic properties have been measured in BiS${}_{2}$-based samples CeO${}_{1\ensuremath{-}x}$F${}_{x}$BiS${}_{2}$ with a systematic substitution of O F ($0<x<0.6$). In contrast to the band-structure calculations, it is found that parent phase CeOBiS${}_{2}$ bad metal instead band insulator. By doping electrons into system, surprising find superconductivity appears together semiconducting normal state. This evolution clearly different from cuprate iron pnictide systems,...
The beta decay of the lightest charmed baryon $${\Lambda }_{c}^{+}$$ provides unique insights into fundamental mechanism strong and electro-weak interactions, serving as a testbed for investigating non-perturbative quantum chromodynamics constraining Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa (CKM) matrix parameters. The search for new superconducting materials has been spurred on by the discovery of iron-based superconductors whose structure and composition is qualitatively different from cuprates. study one such material, KxFe2−ySe2 with a critical temperature 32 K, made more difficult fact that it separates into two phases—a dominant antiferromagnetic insulating phase K2Fe4Se5, minority precise as yet unclear. Here we perform electrical magnetization measurements, scanning electron microscopy...
We study the process e^{+}e^{-}→Λ_{c}^{+}Λ[over ¯]_{c}^{-} at twelve center-of-mass energies from 4.6119 to 4.9509 GeV using data samples collected by BESIII detector BEPCII collider. The Born cross sections and effective form factors (|G_{eff}|) are determined with unprecedented precision after combining single double-tag methods based on decay Λ_{c}^{+}→pK^{-}π^{+}. The corresponding asymmetry measured for first time to be αΞ0K+=0.01±0.16(stat)±0.03(syst). This result reflects noninterference effect S- P-wave amplitudes. phase shift amplitudes has two solutions, which are δp−δs=−1.55±0.25(stat)±0.05(syst) rad or...
Domain wall motion is detected for the first time during transition to a ferroelastic and spin state ordered phase of crossover complex. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction resonant ultrasound spectroscopy (RUS) revealed two distinct symmetry-breaking transitions in mononuclear Mn
Pinned and mobile ferroelastic domain walls are detected in response to mechanical stress a Mn3+ complex with two-step thermal switching between the spin triplet quintet forms. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction resonant ultrasound spectroscopy on [MnIII(3,5-diCl-sal2(323))]BPh4 reveal three distinct symmetry-breaking phase transitions polar space group series Cc → Pc P1 P1(1/2). The transition mechanisms involve coupling structural state order parameters, Landau tricritical, first order,...

${\mathrm{Sm}\mathrm{B}}_{6}$ is a candidate topological Kondo insulator that displays surface conduction at low temperatures. Here, we perform torque magnetization measurements as means to detect de Haas--van Alphen (dHvA) oscillations in ${\mathrm{SmB}}_{6}$ crystals grown by aluminum flux. We find dHvA occur single containing embedded aluminum, originating from the flux used synthesize ${\mathrm{SmB}}_{6}$. Measurements on sample with multiple, unconnected inclusions show crystallizes...
Abstract Ferrotoroidal order, which represents a spontaneous arrangement of toroidal moments, has recently been found in few linear magnetoelectric materials.
