This review discusses several research studies that employed comet assay to evaluate the environmental impact of genotoxins in aquatic environments. It focuses on vivo and situ animals. New chemicals are being added each year existing burden toxic substances environment. Excessive agricultural industrial activities adversely affect biodiversity, threatening survival species a particular habitat, as well posing disease risks humans. Some chemicals, e.g., pesticides heavy metals, may be...

Archaeal lipids, defining a primordial life domain alongside Bacteria and Eukarya, are distinguished by their unique glycerol-1-phosphate backbone ether-linked isoprenoid chains. Serving as critical geochemical biomarkers, archaeal lipids like glycerol dialkyl tetraethers (GDGTs) underpin paleoclimate proxies, while phylum-specific distributions illuminate phylogenetic divergence. Despite the maturity of Mass Spectrometry-based quantitative biomarkers—predominantly those with established...

Colorimetric films were prepared by incorporating curcumin into a sodium cellulose sulfate/chitosan composite. The morphology mechanical, and water vapor properties of the investigated, their practical use in pork preservation was evaluated. formula with same charge ratio sulfate chitosan had highest tensile strength (TS). After addition curcumin, increased, whereas permeability (WVP) decreased. colorimetric film showed distinguishable color changes between pH ranges 3-10. packaging extended...

Endophytic fungi are capable of increasing the growth and secondary metabolite production medicinal plants in an ecofriendly sustainable manner. Although these responses have been demonstrated many plant species, they not well understood Bletilla striata (Thunb.) Reichb.F.. Co-culture B.striata with three endofungal isolates was carried out to evaluate effects endophytic fungal interaction on accumulation phenols. The growth-promoting traits isolated were investigated, had ability produce...

Saccharomyces cerevisiae has been extensively used as a convenient synthetic biology chassis to reconstitute fungal polyketide biosynthetic pathways. Despite progress in refactoring these pathways for expression and optimization of the yeast production host by metabolic engineering, product yields often remain unsatisfactory. Such problems are especially acute when biological is bioprospecting via genome mining or chimeric synthases (PKSs) employed produce novel bioactive compounds. In this...
