Abstract With the enhancement of copper (Cu) stress, germination percentage wheat seeds decreased gradually. Pretreatment with sodium hydrosulfide (NaHS), hydrogen sulfide (H 2 S) donor alleviated inhibitory effect Cu stress in a dose‐dependent manner; whereas little visible symptom was observed germinating and radicle tips cultured NaHS solutions. It verified that H S or HS − rather than other sulfur‐containing components derived from attribute to potential role promoting seed against...

Abstract Protective role of hydrogen sulfide (H 2 S) on seed germination and seedling growth was studied in wheat ( Triticum ) seeds subjected to aluminum (Al 3+ stress. We show that is inhibited by high concentrations AlCl 3 . At 30 mmol/L reduced about 50% more dramatically this treatment. Pre‐incubation the H S donor NaHS alleviates ‐induced stress a dose‐dependant manner at an optimal concentration 0.3 mmol/L. verified alleviating Al could be attributed S/HS − showing level endogenous...

Recent studies have implied that miRNAs act as crucial modulators for epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT). We found miR‐134 expression correlated with invasive potential and EMT phenotype of NSCLC cells. Functional assays demonstrated inhibited in In addition, we showed Forkhead Box M1 (FOXM1) is a direct target miR‐134. Knockdown FOXM1 reversed resembling overexpression. further was involved TGF‐β1‐induced A549 These findings suggest acts novel suppressor

The ameliorative effect of Dendrobium fimbriatum polysaccharide (cDFPW1) on ulcerative colitis (UC) was investigated using a dextran-sodium-sulfate-induced (DSS-induced) mouse model in the present study. results showed that cDFPW1 effectively improved mice by ameliorating weight loss, disease activity index (DAI) and colonic pathological damage, protecting intestinal barrier function integrity. Moreover, modulated composition metabolism microbiota through enhancing Romboutsia, Lactobacillus...
