This study investigated the luminescence characteristics of synthesized biocomposites similar in organic and mineral composition to native dental tissues, enamel dentine. It was found that spectrum intact is calcium hydroxyapatite (HAP) used synthesize biomimetic materials. Despite morphological differences between biocomposite tissue, their spectra suggest shape more influenced by defects crystal structure employed than order apatite nanocrystals typical tissues. The human dentine possessed...
This study is aimed at investigating the features of mineralization enamel apatite initial stages fluorosis development. Samples teeth with intact and fluorotic in an early stage disease development (Thylstrup-Fejerskov Index = 1-3) were studied by Raman scattering FTIR using Infrared Microspectroscopy beamline Australian Synchrotron equipment. Based on data obtained optical microspectroscopy calculation coefficient R [A-type/B-type], which represents ratio carbonation fraction CO32-,...
The objective of this study was to investigate the efficiency saturation mixed saliva by mineral complexes and groups necessary for remineralisation tooth enamel using exogenous endogenous methods caries prevention. Using IR spectroscopy high-intensity synchrotron radiation, changes in composition human were identified when prevention are employed. Based on calculations mineral/organic carbon/phosphate ratios, depending a certain type identified. It is shown that use toothpaste (exogenous...
In this exploratory study, we searched for associations between the two most common diseases of oral cavity—dental caries and periodontal diseases—taking into account additional factors, such as personalized clinical pictures (the individual risk factors patient), based on method a multivariate data analysis molecular changes in composition human gingival crevicular fluid (GCF). For purpose, set synchrotron Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) spectra samples from patients with...
Investigations of intact dental enamel as well carious-affected human were performed using infrared spectromicroscopy and X-ray diffraction applying synchrotron radiation. Caries was shown to be characterized by an increase in the number deformation valence vibrations for N-C-O, N-H C=O bonds, a decrease crystallinity index, absence preferable orientation hydroxyapatite crystals within affected enamel. This indicates presence destructive processes organic matrix hard tooth tissues.
In this report, we demonstrated the formation of a biomimetic mineralizing layer obtained on surface dental enamel (biotemplate) using bioinspired nanocrystalline carbonate-substituted calcium hydroxyapatite (ncHAp), whose physical and chemical properties are closest to natural apatite matrix, together with complex polyfunctional organic polar amino acids. Using set structural, spectroscopy, advanced microscopy techniques, confirmed nanosized ncHAp-based mineralized layer, as well studying...
In our paper, we discuss the results of a comprehensive structural-spectroscopic and microscopic analysis non-stoichiometric nanocrystalline hydroxyapatite (CHAp) with low carbonate anion content biomimetic hybrid nanomaterials produced on its basis. It was shown that nanocrystals synthesized by chemical precipitation biogenic calcium source mimic properties apatite also have morphological organization “core–shell” type. The “core” CHAp nanocrystal is characterized an overabundance Ca/P~1.9....
