Sarcoma represents a highly heterogeneous group of tumours. We report here the first unbiased and systematic search for gene fusions combined with unsupervised expression analysis series 184 small round cell sarcomas. Fusion genes were detected in 59% samples, half them being observed recurrently. identified biologically homogeneous groups tumours such as CIC-fused (to DUX4, FOXO4 or NUTM1) BCOR-rearranged (BCOR-CCNB3, BCOR-MAML3, ZC3H7B-BCOR, BCOR internal duplication) tumour groups....

Background Since 2010, nationwide networks of reference centers for sarcomas (RREPS/NETSARC/RESOS) collected and prospectively reviewed all cases connective tumors intermediate malignancy (TIM) in France. Methods The incidence sarcoma or TIM (2013–2016) was measured using the 2013 WHO classification confirmed by a second independent review expert pathologists. Simple clinical characteristics, yearly variations correlation with published trials are presented analyzed. Results Over 150...

EBV-induced gene 3 (EBI3) can associate with p28 to form the heterodimeric cytokine IL-27, or p35 subunit of IL-12 EBI3/p35 heterodimer, recently named IL-35. In mice, IL-35 has been shown be constitutively expressed by CD4(+)CD25(+)Foxp3(+) regulatory T cells (Treg cells) and suggested contribute their suppressive activity. this study, we investigated whether human Treg express Double-staining analysis thymuses showed that neither Foxp3(+) nor CD25(+) coexpressed EBI3. Similarly, present in...

The French phase 3 trial (OS 2006) testing zoledronic acid, an osteoclast inhibitor, with chemotherapy and surgery did not improve the outcome of patients osteosarcoma (OS). To understand this unexpected result, presence infiltrating immune cells was investigated in 124 pre-therapeutic biopsies enrolled trial. percentage CD68/CD163 tumor-infiltrating macrophages (TAMs), CD8+ lymphocytes, osteoclasts, PD1/PDL-1 checkpoint were assessed by immunohistochemistry. M1/M2 macrophage polarization...

Chondrosarcomas are primary cancers of cartilaginous tissue with highly contrasting prognoses. These tumors defined by recurrent mutations in the IDH genes and other genetic alterations including inactivation CDKN2A COL2A1; however, these have no clinical value. Here we use multi-omics molecular profiles from a series cartilage find an mRNA classification that identifies two subtypes chondrosarcomas balance tumor differentiation cell cycle activation. The microRNA reveals importance loss...

We identified prognostic factors of papillary renal cell carcinoma (PRCC) types 1 (PRCC1) and 2 (PRCC2).Between 1985 1998, 759 patients underwent surgery for carcinoma, whom 88 (11.6%), including 69 males 19 females with a mean age 61.8 years (range 21.3 to 85.9) who had PRCC. Multifocality was defined as or greater tumors separated by 10 mm greater. Small basophilic cells PRCC1 large eosinophilic PRCC2. Mean followup in 79 cases 71.1 months 196.6). Survival rates were calculated statistical...

Abstract Interleukin (IL)‐27 is a newly described member of the IL‐12 family. It heterodimeric cytokine composed two subunits, p28 and Epstein–Barr virus‐induced gene 3 (EBI3). In vitro studies have shown that IL‐27 mainly produced by activated monocytes dendritic cells. induces proliferation naïve CD4‐positive T cells synergizes with for interferon‐γ (IFN‐γ) production.
