Oral hyaluronic acid (HA) is a ubiquitous biopolymer that has gained attention as treatment for local or systemic diseases. Here, we prepared and characterized structures of free HA (f-HA) with high (>105 Da), intermediate (≤105 low (≤104 Da) average molar mass (MM); nanoparticles crosslinked adipic dihydrazide (n-HA); mixed formulations (mixed-HA) containing f-HA n-HA. MM distribution determined the structure, hydrodynamic diameter, zeta potential f-HAs. Crosslinking changed...
<title>Abstract</title> Ulvan belongs to the class of sulfated heteropolysaccharide and is main component seaweed Ulva ohnoi (U. ohnoi). has a chemical structure similar fucoidan, chondroitin sulfate, hyaluronic acid, which are commonly used develop drug delivery systems. Due potential biomedical applications non-sulfated polysaccharides, this work aimed an environmentally friendly method for extracting ulvan from U. ohnoi with high yield purity. A novel...
