Photometric and spectroscopic data of the energetic Type Ic supernova (SN) 2002ap are presented, properties SN investigated through models its spectral evolution light curve. The is spectroscopically similar to "hypernova" 1997ef. However, kinetic energy [~(4-10) × 1051 ergs] mass ejected (2.5-5 M☉) smaller, resulting in a faster evolving synthesized ~0.07 M☉ 56Ni, peak luminosity was that normal SNe. Brightness alone should not be used define hypernova, whose defining character, namely very...
Aims.We present a study of the optical and near-infrared (NIR) properties Type Ia Supernova (SN Ia) 2003du.
To take advantage of the astrophysical potential Gamma-Ray Bursts (GRBs), Chinese and French astrophysicists have engaged SVOM mission (Space-based multi-band astronomical Variable Objects Monitor). Major advances in GRB studies resulting from synergy between space ground observations, implements instrumentation. The scientific objectives put a special emphasis on two categories GRBs: very distant GRBs at z$>$5 which constitute exceptional cosmological probes, faint/soft nearby allow...
Einstein Probe is a small mission dedicated to time-domain high-energy astrophysics. Its primary goals are discover transients and monitor variable objects in the 0.5-4 keV Xrays, at higher sensitivity by one order of magnitude than those ones currently orbit. Its wide-field imaging capability, featuring large instantaneous field-of-view (60 • × 60 , ∼ 1.1 sr), achieved using established technology micro-pore (MPO) lobster-eye optics, thereby offering unprecedentedly high Grasp (effective area...

Therefore, it is important to accurately detect indicators before making actual measurements. Based on SNC-300A fiber optic inertial system, this paper focuses zero bias stability devices static angle measurement...
The vortex-induced vibration (VIV) of the streamlined closed-box girder is greatly affected by attachments. Herein, VIV performance and suppression measures a with an aspect ratio 12.425 are investigated through 1:25 scale section model wind tunnel tests numerical simulations. Severe torsional VIVs at 0° +5° attack angles observed in tests. Subsequently, triggering mechanism explored computational fluid dynamics (CFD) method dynamic mesh technology. Furthermore, it pointed out that measure...
The nebular spectra of the broad-lined, Type Ic SN 2002ap are studied by means synthetic spectra. Two different modeling techniques employed. In one technique, ejecta treated as a single zone, while in other density and abundance distribution velocity is used from an explosion model. both cases, heating caused γ-ray positron deposition computed (in latter case using Monte Carlo technique to describe propagation γ-rays positrons), cooling via forbidden-line emission. results compared,...
The peculiar type Ia supernova SN 1997br in ESO 576-G40 was extensively observed at Beijing Astronomical Observatory and Lick Observatory. In this paper, we present discuss the BVRI photometry spectra collected over 3 months, beginning 9 days before maximum brightness. light curves of are similar to those 1991T, with slow decline rates after B maximum. Well-sampled data show unambiguously that rises more slowly has a wider peak than normal supernovae. optical color evolution is also 1991T....
It is well-known that ordinary supernovae (SNe) are powered by 56Ni cascade decay. Broad-lined type Ic SNe (SNe Ic-BL) a subclass of not all exclusively was suggested some Ic-BL magnetar spin-down. iPTF16asu peculiar broad-lined supernova discovered the intermediate Palomar Transient Factory. With rest-frame rise time only 4 days, challenges existing popular models, for example, radioactive heating (56Ni-only) and magnetar+56Ni models. Here we show this rapid could be attributed to...
Broad-lined type Ic supernovae (SNe Ic-BL) are peculiar stellar explosions that distinguish themselves from ordinary SNe. Some SNe Ic-BL associated with long-duration (\gtrsim 2 s) gamma-ray bursts (GRBs). Black holes and magnetars two types of compact objects hypothesized to be central engines GRBs. In spite decades investigations, no direct evidence for the formation black or has been found GRBs so far. Here we report finding early peak (t \lesssim 50 days) late-time \gtrsim 300 slow decay...
We present the BVR photometry and spectra of SN 1998S taken about four months after discovery, beginning a week 6 days before maximum brightness respectively. The light curves show steep linear decline, which are consistent with those 1979C typical II-L. An absolute magnitude at is derived, more than 2 mag brighter regular SNII indicates this member rare class Bright SNII. color evolution early epoch also II () value +1.35, similar to Type II-L 1980K. spectral for II-L, very that 1979C....
Low-resolution spectra of SN 1999dn at early times are presented and compared with synthetic generated the parameterized supernova spectrum code SYNOW. We find that strongly resemble those 1997X 1984L, hence we classify it as a Type Ib event. Line identifications established through synthesis. Strong evidence both Hα C II λ6580 is found. infer appears first, before time maximum brightness, then blended finally overwhelmed by line after maximum; this favors thin high-velocity hydrogen skin in...
Multiwavelength observations of the optical afterglow GRB 050319 were performed from 1.31 to 9.92 hr after burst. Our R-band light curves, combined with other published data, can be described by smooth broken power-law function, α1 = -0.84 ± 0.02 α2 -0.48 0.03, 0.04 days gamma-ray The curves are characterized shallow decays—as was also observed in X-rays—which may have a similar origin, related energy injection. However, our indicate that there is still puzzle concerning chromatic breaks...
Even with the renaissance in gamma-ray burst (GRB) research fostered by Swift satellite, few bursts have both contemporaneous observations at long wavelengths and exquisite later times across electromagnetic spectrum. We present here imaging KAIT robotic optical telescope, dense sampling Lulin, supplemented infrared data from PAIRITEL radio to literature. For first time, we can test constancy of microphysical parameters internal-external shock paradigm carefully trace flow energy GRB...
The 1 m telescope at Lulin Observatory and the 0.76 Katzman Automatic Imaging Telescope Lick were used to observe optical afterglow of short-duration (1.2-1.5 s) gamma-ray burst GRB 040924. This object has a soft high-energy spectrum, thus making it an exceptional case, perhaps actually belonging tail long-duration GRBs. Our data, combined with other reported measurements, show that early R-band light curve can be described by two power laws index α = -0.7 (at t 16-50 minutes) -1.06 later...
Abstract Broad-lined type Ic supernovae (SNe Ic-BL) are a subclass of rare core-collapse SNe whose energy source is debated in the literature. Recently, series investigations on Ic-BL with magnetar (plus 56 Ni) model were carried out. Evidence for formation was found well-observed 1998bw and 2002ap. In this paper, we systematically study large sample not associated gamma-ray bursts (GRBs). We use photospheric velocity data determined homogeneous way. find that magnetar+ Ni provides good...
We present our optical observations of {\em Swift} GRB 070518 afterglow obtained at the 0.8-m Tsinghua University-National Astronomical Observatory China telescope (TNT) Xinglong Observatory. Our follow-up were performed from 512 sec after burst trigger. With upper limit redshift $\sim$0.7, is found to be an optically dim burst. The spectra indices $\beta_{ox}$ X-ray are slightly larger than 0.5, which implies might a dark extinction $A_{V}$ host galaxy 3.2 mag inferred hydrogen column...
Multi-step reasoning ability of large language models is crucial in tasks such as math and tool utilization. Current researches predominantly focus on enhancing model performance these multi-step through fine-tuning with Chain-of-Thought (CoT) steps, yet methods tend to be heuristic, without exploring nor resolving the bottleneck. In this study, we subdivide CoT into two parts: arranging executing, identify that bottleneck mainly lies rather than executing. Based finding, propose a...
