We present new $\ensuremath{\Sigma}$ beam asymmetry data for $\ensuremath{\eta}$ meson photoproduction on the proton, using a novel tagged, laser backscattered, linearly polarized photon up to 1.1 GeV. The show large, positive asymmetries, at all incident energies.
